usa usa usa! Don't want them to win the world cup because, well, they're America and they dominate most things.

Must be a bit of a novelty for the Americans to be playing in a 'world' tournament with people from other countries.

Huh? I cant tell what you're getting at here...

Apparently the US criticized the choice because he's a french speaker, as is Belgium. French is probably not a language any of the Americans speak, besides Bedoya as he spent this past year in France. However all FIFA refs are apparently required to speak English on a conversational level.

Belgians also speak Dutch and German does that me speakers of those languages can't ref Belgium matches as well?

Not sure why they are being critical? (I understand it's not you that been critical of the ref selection.)

I'm hopeful this game will be a better one than the Argies v the Cuckooclockmakers.

I have this discussion with my American friends every time they mention the world series, or the Superbowl winners being world champions. It's a challenging concept to some of them who've never ventured out of their zip codes

I'm on the fence for this game. I'd like to see our Spurs boys do well, but I actually like the USA team. Got a couple of young cousins in the USA who have got into football big time, got them supporting Spurs already. They're well up for this game last I spoke to them.

Happy to see either of these teams go through. Belgium have one hell of a squad, but the USA are more of a team.
