true but last time we played the french we gave them a hell of a game in paris and if duff didnt go off injured after tormenting them for first 30mins we might've gotten more then a draw.
i just think that if stephen reid is fit (huge if) then we'll be stronger in the CM position which is badly needed and if we get that then we will give anyone a game and only team that wont mind croke park too much is russia, the other 3 wont fancy it at all especially if its lashing rain and freezing and with 73k+ micks cheering and screaming!

The thing that I'm happy about is that we seem tougher to beat now. Italy didn't beat us, Bulgaria didn't either. Two teams full of quality players.

But we need a better center midfielder. Really hoping Steven Reid is fit for these games. Although Glenn Whelan won me over a little bit at the weekend.

Hopefully Given doesn't get booked tomorrow if he plays.

true we need reidy (the slim one) back alright to add a bit of quality to CM. if we avoid russia we have a good chance but i wouldnt be very hopeful if we get russia.
