What I mean is, I have never seen a positive reasoned post from him. I wasn't calling for a ban, I just meant how does he still feel the urge to post here if all he has is bad things to say....I just wouldn't bother.

Good luck to the Irish, Keano will do it for you. WC 02 was so much better because Ireland were in it.

Unfortunately, with the draw meaning the second leg is in France I think this stacks the odds in their favour even more. If the second leg was in Ireland I would have thought an upset was actually quite likely.

our last game there we had 25k fans in the stadium, if we can bring some sort of decent result to the away leg with that sort of support anything can happen. the french crowd will be very quick to get frustrated if france arnt hammering us or arnt playing well and the comments by their twat of a manager about us being englands B side is only going to strengthen the belief of the crowd that they should be hammering us so if that doesnt happen their going to be very frustrated and will take it out on the players

Portugal and Bosnia will be a good game. I think Ukraine and Russia will get through comfortably though.

France and Ireland is undoubtedly the tie of the playoffs though. If Ireland take a lead, however slender, into the second leg I think we'll be favourites. If it's in the balance for the 2nd tie, it promises to be one helluva match.
