The original poster didn't just say should we sell Kane (in which case I agree - no) but he said should we accept £80million for him? In which case you'd have to be retarded to say no IMO. Don't worry though cos it won't happen, even Man U aren't that mental.

Every player has a price, true. But I think it is unfair to say you'd have to be "retarded," which is I a word I wouldn't throw around casually as you do, to say no.

Our club is run as the business it is, not as a play thing for some oil tycoon or Qatari. But just because we are a business, and we do have a bottom line, doesn't mean it would be smart to accept an insane deal like that.

The Goat's recent ITK said that United bid 40m for him, which as I said, is probably about his value right now. We would be stupid to accept that. But the reason why we would be stupid to accept double that, which is mental to even offer (as you correctly said), is because of the message it says. You can only run a business(club) like ours a certain way for so long until you basically shoot yourself in the foot.

If we sell a burgeoning national star after his breakthrough season we would be stupid, end of. Buy low, sell high. We would not be selling high. United are trying to buy low. We should not let them for any price less than even an ungodly figure like £100million

if levy even considered selling kane it would be time for him to go in my opinion harrys a spurs fan and probably prefer another striker at spurs to help him

I can see it now, it'll be another Chris Waddle folk law.. His transfer to France paid for the West Stand so it was said. Harry Kane paid for the new stadium.

this summer yes based on half a season but if he plays better next season then he proves he is the real deal and we shouldn't sell him

Similar situation to when Man U wanted Bale as it was a perfect replacement (and still might be!) for Giggs, who retired at what age!!!!

They would be getting a fantastic player potentially for the next decade or so. Even 100m is cheap for that these days......

I know! You'd have to expect to be challenging for the title after spending that kind of money....

Not without a time machine

West stand 82, waddle sale 89.

You may mean East stand refurb completed 89 (late)

yes. anyone who says no isn't thinking.

was there any need for the end part?
or could you not think or a response so just threw an insult in there to anyone who has a different opinion?

For me to build a good squad we should be looking to get the best HG players in that we can. Kane is one of the best HG players around at the moment and we should be holding on to him.

If I ever found out we pushed Kane out against his will, kinda like Roma did to Lamela (he he) I would seriously think about giving football up

Just think what we could do with 80m in our pocket.

Hahaha.

Don't do that. Seriously.
