Might be in the minority. I think we’ve paid alright. Bale Lamela Moura good.

We have done ok going forward. Weak in midfield and Toby snd Sanchez are getting bullied at the back by the big lad

I don't think we have played badly but just that final bit of quality, the final ball.

Wycombe are my local team and I managed to go to the last tie and would of gone tonight so gutted to miss it!

That being said, they are playing well however we are lacking that little bit of quality in the final third, hopefully fitness tells in the second half as they haven’t played in 10 days or so...

Can see an anti-Bale camp is forming. Granted it hasn't quite work out from his return, but it's only a loan where we are still in healthy position in various competitions to see him comes good. There are many terrible players at hand we can berate, and Bale is definitely not even in top 5. The lengths at some calling him shit is just uncalled for and disgusting, knowing how good he can be when he regains the form.
Are we turning into Real Madrid fans?

Here are just a FEW of the choice comments on today's thread:

Laughable effort by Bale, sad to see.
Bale will be subbed off at half time for sure.
Bale is shit.
Get bale off
Do we just cancel the Bale loan now?

No you're right. Everyone was totally fair and loving Bale until he scored!

I stand by my comment. Any other player and it would be a different story. He’s past his best and only shows up when he decides to.

Against a team rooted to the bottom of the championship.
And what's wrong with that? Isn't it a perfect beating stick for you guys too to slap Bale with if he couldn't even perform against a team rooted to the bottom of the championship?

Even if Bale only plays in the cup games and keeps scoring the odd goal, if it means we get to another final without having to risk Son and Kane then he would've been worth signing.

You mean when mourinho decides he can. He's not had anywhere near enough game time to get any kind of rhythm back in his play.

He’s not trusted to play against anyone of any quality though is he?

Because he hasn't been fit enough to play, first time since he has been back he is picking the ball up and running with it and then not looking knackered for the next 10 minutes of the game.

Don't think that was actually too bad a half compared to plenty of our other performances this season.

Wycombe are a handful but we should be 3-1 up and had all the best chances.

If we play the same way 2nd half and bring on some first teamers we'll win comfortably

Yeah this isn't good.

Yet we did hit the bar twice and create a fair few decent chances that especially Bale should do better with.

Just a bit shit off the ball especially, letting them catch us out.

Bale isn't a winger anymore. More of a no 9 or 10. Doesn't have the legs.

Bale would be perfect playing with Kane as a goal poacher or no 10 unfortunately for him we have son who plays a similar role
