I will be disapointed if we don't sign him I think for the money that is being talked about he would be an excellent signing. I don't think AVB's eye for players is keen as some may believe if he doesn't want him.

BBC website confirmed he's signed for Rubin Kazan.

TBH Im not too fussed about him but I think he may never be heard of, for a while as I dont think Rubin is the right place for him, as he been going downwards this season and this move may mean he wont be getting any caps soon

What do you think of a midfield trio of Sandro-Dembele-M'Vila?

Too defensive, or would M'Vila be able to step into Dembele's current role and let Dembele play more like a #10?
It is too defensive IMO. However it'd be a great option to have when we go play big teams away. There just isn't enough passers in it for it to be our staple formation. Neither of them have a more than decent passing range.

I also personally don't like dembele playing behind the strriker. He has little to no end product which is very important in that position. The other thing is that we'd lose all the great work he does in the middle of the park. His ball retention and ability to drive and penetrate midfield lines is pivotal to our team.

Mvilla can play that position but he's never been that great at it. He's not much of a runner with the ball and although he's got a great short passing game, he doesn't have a great passing range.

We have to go out there and sign a no10 as far as I'm concerned. One with great passing and creativity. One who can take the attention away from our widemen. At the moment teams find it way too easy to double up on them and that's because they know we've got a limited threat through the middle.

£72k per week after taxes. That's why we were never in the running. Quite a lot

Which part of that statement do you actually disagree with?

That he's an upgrade on Sandro! Have you actually watched Sandro this season, he's been immense. Easily on his way to being the best holding midfielder in the league

Granted M'Vila is a good player but an upgrade on Sandro, definitely not!

Don't think you've seen much of M'villa to be honest. There is literally nothing sandro does better.

I can almost certainly guarantee that Sandro does better high kicks, although perhaps not at this moment.

We missed out on him in the summer

M'Vila is not as good defensively as Sandro. He may be a better passer
Oh dear, where does this theory come from. Mvilla is a moster defensively. He's a great reader of the game but not just he gets stuck in too. He's a terrific athlete too. Eats up the ground and attackers find it almost impossible to get passed him.

It's not that he may be a better passer, he IS a better passer.

Don't tell me that's a sandro youtube. I'm on my mobile so I can't watch it but if it is you could easily find a better one of M'villa. I'm not basing my judgment on youtube, I'm basing it on actual games.

It isn't. I could probably put one up of Sandro against A.C. Milan and you wouldn't be able to beat it. Probably the best defensive performance i've ever seen.

Oh, and BTW, Sandro starts for Brazil - M'Vila is struggling to get into the France team. Partly because he's a prick however.
