We've got a pretty mature squad, and one that has a lot of young guys on it. I think M'Vila can realize that you don't have to be a royal doucheturd to have a good/fun/enjoyable life, and hopefully some of our guys that are around his age (Sandro, Caulker, Bale, Walker, etc.) can show him the right path.

He's got some talent, if he can knock the other shit off he'd have a chance to be special. I always hate to see when players with talent get in their own way in becoming great.

With JJ's itk - this is looking the most likely cm option now. His got an engine, puts his foot in but also can find the pass needed to open up play. I know he has attitude problems but sometimes a move to a different culture is the perfect way to start as fresh. If he performs his value goes up and i think he'd fit in we'll next to Dembele. Worth a gamble if we can move on Hudd and Livermore.

Saying this, I actually think this kind of change is a summer move. I personally don't think his the player who will help us secure 4th - for me a CF and an attacking wide player (Willian) are higher up the list of priorities.

I think circumstances in the league play a big part in what we as fans see as perfect targets. We are currently on course for a top four finish in the league and what that highlights (especially after our collapse last year) is that we are all worried about holding on to our position in the league.

When trying to hold on to top four we are all worrying about what might happen that would result in us doing worse than what we are now. Hence lots of people wanting mvilla and holtby players now incase dembele or Parker gets injured which could lead to collapse.

Then there are those that are looking to progression and improvement rather than holding on to what we've got. These fans want the new uber striker, moutinho willian and sneijder signing that takes us up a level to challenge. If we were sixth or maybe even 5th I think a lot more would fall into the second category as we need to improve but the fact we've done well up to here makes it a stick or twist situation.

Pick a side and pick your preferred targets accordingly but I think while very happy to protect what we've got, the fact is even upon coming fourth we failed to move up tht next level and perhaps that risk of buying a world class player is the only way to get there.

I'm hoping mvilla holtby and a levy special loan to buy on Wesley. Dreaming methonks

They are going to announce his signing for a new team tomorrow.

I hope it is us but I have a feeling it is going to be QPR

Or Rubin Kazan. It would seem unlikely that it us as we have just entered the fray. And if the ITK saying that Levy and AVB don't agree on him, that would seem to indicate that we wouldn't be close to finalizing anything as well.

We moved quickly with Dembele, so maybe we have with M'Villa (fingers crossed), I really can't see him going to Russia tbh. Also the ITK on M'Villa was as clear as diarrhoea; it didn't make it clear if AVB didn't want him or if AVB had merely said he would sooner we use the money for signing Moutinho which are obviously two very different statements.

His supposed attitude problem all seems to stem from a incident where he punched a guy that was hitting on his sister, whilst none of us or the media where there you cant really judge him on that and this is used as a excuse for him not being coveted by the big clubs

More worringly having spoken to my french mates, they said he has not replicated the form he was showing a year ago, they said like Gourcuff he looked like he was going to be world class and the new french DM but since last year he has slowly struggling to replicate it. Last weekend Renne won their game 4-2 and this led to a pitch invasion after a great game but Mvila didnt play well and in france they dont expect him to go to a big club

So signing him will be risky and he will be under pressure performing at a big club, if it works we may of got a bargain that will give us a healthy profit once Sandro is back, if not then we could always ship him to Russia:cool:

Rennes have accepted a £9.6m offer from Russian club Rubin Kazan for Yann M'Vila, but the France midfielder favours a move to England. QPR and unamed club are interested.

He would prefer to join the unnamed club, who would pay £3.3m up front and a further £3m, or £3.3m, at the end of the season.

Are we the unamed club? Sounds like a Levy type of deal!

I think we are probably the un-named club but from the ITK I have read AVB categorically doesn't want Mvilla. If we do sign him I reckon it will be on deadline day.

Even if we hadn't had all the ITK on him i would say that we are definitely the unamed club based on the deal strucutre there ;)

As above?

ITK is as reliable as the BBC, so claims AVB does not want him may well be garbage.
