Couldnt agree more with this bit, i have said for along time i dont think he plays as a team player but has shown he has sthe skill, i am just hoping a pre season under ramos and with the rest of the squad may help him and show that even if he is good, or going to be a great player, he still has to play as a team.

If it was me i would pick 2 or 3 other players, give them a ball and tell them to keep the ball and move up the pitch while putting 5 or 6 or so players in the way to try and stop them! would make him have to think about where teammates are, where defenders are, and where to play a ball for someone to move onto into space!
I agree that Taraabt is erratic and selfish...at the moment,........but given time and the right coaching and training he can become world class in my opinion. He has the attributes and natural talent but it only needs to be harnessed in the right way. I can remember years ago the same was being said of a certain then unknown Mr Zidane and the rest is history.

I believe we get rid of Taraabt at our own peril, something we would live to regret.

It could all depend on someone getting an injury or a suspension, or how far/who we get in the cups.

I can see Pekhart, Rose and Dervitte getting a chance sizeable chances this season, and whoever takes their chance will be the one to breakthrough. I picked them because there are not too many similar players in front of them.

Does anyone know how Dag Alexander Olsen is progressing? Don't seem to hear much about him at all.

I think he's scored a few goals for the youth or reserves & suffered an injury here or there. The official site will have more info.

before we start sticking these players on the bench i think we should loan them out to the championship for at least half a season see how well they do and depending on that they make the bench if not then bye bye. we do not want another barnard do we he was very promising in the reserves and then he just couldnt make it in the first team and by the time he went he was 24.

Alnwick should be given a chance he is a talented young keeper.
Gunter will grow into a decent player think if hutton or bale gets injured gunter will shine.
Hopefully kaboul or dawson step it up but IMO they won't this coming season.
Bale should improve even more hopefully stays fit for the whole season.
Bostock-too young.
Hudd-expect big things from him should get a fair few games.
O'Hara-not really sure he will improve that much to be honest.

Main tip is Gunter, really think he will prove to be a fantastic signing.
