Villa vs City
Ginola vs Barnsley
Keane vs Blackburn. - Not seen this mentioned but was pure class from Keano. https://www.premierleague.com/video/single/930363
Lennon vs Chelsea when Keano sat Bhoularouz on his arse. -
Hoddle Vs Watford

Loads of others I would have put in with more space like Gazza against Arsenal, Bale vs Westham after getting fouled, Bale against stoke away, a ton of VDV goals, Kane Free kick against Villa because what it meant, Moura against Ajax, Son's most recent against Ajax was amazing, Super jan against UTD when we beat them away for the first time, Mendes against UTD which should have been given, Keane against Chelsea in the 4-4 cos I was in the paxton when it went in.

Really hard to pick but wanted to put in some I remember for personal reasons.

Moura v ajax
Kaboul v the scum
Son v the scum
Peter crouch vs ac Milan
Gareth bale away vs city
We ended up losing the game but we clawed away back in it, defoe was just millimeters away from getting a winner, then balotelli stumped on Scott parker beautiful Raf face and then won the decisive penalty against are dear old Ledley. That game taught me that this sport isnt fair. But I will always remember bale's outrageous curler.

Love all the goals mentioned. But an honorable mention to :

Nayiiim from the half way line........

Hoddle vs Watford
Ginola against Barnsley
Gazza vs Arsenal
Bale vs Inter

Robbie Keane scored a few belters but the one against Chelsea in the last 10 mins of the game, to draw 4-4 I think it was, what a goal.
(And his pure individual skill vs Blackburn)

I will always love Steffen Iversen for scoring this beauty (along with setting up the winner in the final).

Was out clubbing during the game, so my dad recorded it on VHS for when we got home. I made my Arsenal-supporting classmate watch it with me in full (no fast-forwarding), even though we had to be up for school in a few hours.

No idea why the fuck they keep banging on about Iversen being offside. Then again, Ron Atkinson always did have a warped perception of black and white.

Thank you for posting this. I picked this in my top five and I was there that night. The goal was even better than I remembered, I picked it purely on the basis of its importance and the emotion it brought out but it was a fantastic finish.

Remember that season? It's the one where we seemed to always have Wimbledon as our next game! It was the weirdest time we played them five times within five weeks and we managed to not get beat in any of these games which would seem to be statistically unlikely.

The wimbledon player kicked it how can he be offside?

Can’t really narrow down my favourite goals so I’ll go for one that sticks in my memory for a different reason. My kid was 4 months old and I had him positioned in his wee rocker thingy in front of the tv with the game on. Being the apple of my eye I was sitting down with him at the time pulling faces and making noises, the ball hit the net and I totally forgot where I was (which was 10cms from his face) I let out this enormous roar to celebrate only to look down on his face, to see what can only be described as a genuine look of fear, then he burst into tears! There was also a time where I forgot to strap him into the buggy and he fell out and I ran him over with it. Guess I’ll not be getting any award huh ?

Greaves v Man Unt
Greaves v Newcastle
Waddle v Saints Mudbath
Hoddle v Chelsea
Carr v Man unt
could have put a dozen by Greaves but tried to share it out a bit .
Those who were at these games will know the goals I mean without reference as they will be impeded in their minds .

Villa was a special one! You could make a dozen different criteria and have a dozen different top 5's. I expect most of us could agonise for hours over a top 20. My method was just to pick them on immediate instinct rather than have a huge internal debate, otherwise I'd have to deal with Bale vs Milan, Villa and Ardiles, and a dozen more Hoddle goals :D
Only just seen this thread you started…. I’m a bit worse for wear today so my thinking is a bit askew. Top of my head:
Hoddle v Oxford. *Not bloody Barnsley as I first put. (brings tears to my eyes)
Hoddle v Watford
Villa v Man City
Gazza v the goons
Bale v inter Milan (any one of them)
On another note, it’s your birthday around this time isn’t? I recall cos mine was last Sunday 5th.
*EDIT. said my thinking was askew
