lennon has 4 asists and 2 goals (bot were winners). If King had lasted the full 90 in both the utd and Chelsea games i'd have said him.

Palacios, mainly because if he wasnt there I am not sure any of the other players would be playing as well as they are.

King:

His doggedness to wear the shirt is a testament to a true throwback.

He is risking walking with a cane for the rest of his life for the badge.

Legend. We have Ledley at the back.

Agreed. I'll be mortified if he doesn't get a new deal, he only wants 2 more seasons after this one, I think he has earnt it more than any other player. If we don't keep him on, we have no right to bitch about Campbell leaving for free 10 years previously because we'll have treated King similarly to how Campbell treated us.

For me our player of the season so far has been Huddlestone, played pretty much every game for us this season and has set up a few goals even tho he has been asked to fill in at CB at times

I think it's testament to the team as a whole that nearly all our players have had an off game or 2 this season so far but we've still been winning.

I'll go for Ekotto because I think he's been consistently good so far and he can really lay a claim to be one of the best left backs in the premiership at the moment. Defensively sound, positionally good and when he goes forward he goes forward well and at the right times. Great goal too.

To be fair King has been amazing as ever, Bassong has been impressive and fitted in well, Jenas has been excellent since coming back from injury. If Modric had not got injured he'd probably have got my vote as he was a magician in the first few games and that first half against Birmingham was just perfect.

What a difference a year makes.

It heartens me top see the width of players being mentioned. Proves how strong we are as a team.

There are very few of our squad who have not performed, out of their skins, on at least one occasion, this season. Modric 'should' revolutionize our midfield, when he gets back. We could add a good 'competitive' Mid to our team for certain games. The forwards are above average in the EPL and that is fast becoming the case in other areas as time goes on.
Perhaps the mix of experience and youth will keep us at the top for the rest of the season? That applies to the manager as much as to the players? COYS!

I would go for Mods and Ledley.

They are both world class and consistent and when they play we will win more than we lose.

Underperformers for me have been Corluka, Keane and Cuds.

FFS Corluka has been fairly solid so far this season and Keane is just a scape goat for some of you who clearly just watch highlights....
