Player of the year "so far and a supprise" I would have to say JJ. I'm really warming to him and I hope he keeps going as I feel he's on a great run "so far"

Impossible task to choose! I've changed my mind several times in the last few minutes!
Wilson has made such a difference to the team. We are so much more solid now, so I will say him. But Benny has improved beyond recognition, and whereas when he played, I felt he would give away a goal a game, now I would be really concerned if he wasn't playing. Modric was electric before he was injured; all of the strikers have been scoring goals, King never fails to amaze me; Gomes has been first class, Bassong slotted in effortlessly.....and the rest have all been consistently good! (Isn't it great that we have such a good team now that we have a problem choosing a POTSSF)

Dr Know, you can replace DC Boy as Jenas' #1 fan :)

King or Crouch imo

Nah I've said before I'm no fan of individual players just Spurs but you got to admit JJ has surprised alot of us fans so its hard not to mention him.

I think the whole team has improved by miles and the Bolton & Pompey games showed the change in attitude

Good times ahead COYS!!!

unless we play one of the top 4

As someone said, not against Liverpool, but then again Modric wasn't our best player in that game.

But I mean, with both my heart and my brain, there is not one player better than him in the PL, a few on the same level, but I wouldn't swap him with anyone in the PL.

modric played consistently at the top of his game until he got injured. he would easily , by far, have got it.

wilson has been as inconsistent the rest of the squad though his qualities are so important to us now, he gets the nod as best player so far, for me.

jenas been injured for most of the season how can he be considered!? same old jenas anyways i aint spanking no monkey until i see a considerable and consistent improvement to his game of the last couple of seasons. he's been playing ok and chipping in with a few great little goals and assists, but no biggie. needs to play with a fire in his belly and raise his levels of aggression, otherwise, time to make a tidy profit on him.

King... Legend, followed by Defoe who's been banging them in away from home.

Disco Benny for me. He's really stepped up to the mark and looks like the second best LB in the league after Evra.

If Modric was not injured he would win it hands down, and for me, he is still probably up there even in his absence. He amongst others was the reason our confidence levels were where they were after 4 games, giving us a great platform to continue that form.

Interesting how no one has mentioned Tom Huddlestone. I wont either.

My man of the season so far is Robbie Keane. Our captain is so bad that the others have to up their game to compensate for him, therefore making us as a team, play better.

Tough one as we have had so many changes in personnel - a lot of players have been excellent when they have played - King, Modric, Jenas - Problem is none of them have played long enough this season to be the best thus far, so just for the goal tally, I am going to have to go with Defoe with palacios a close second!
