There are lots of good players. Some of them aren't even black
Look, I've explained to you, you cretin, why it is such an obvious idea to just keep Parker, that virtually no suggestion you make will make any sense - so the fact that I rate Tiote, as one of many players I rate, does not affectthat. If we were buying Tiote the obvious player to go wouldn't be Parker, you numpty, it would be Sandro - do you really want us to sell Sandro just so we can sign a player that conforms to you pea-brained idea? PRATT!

WILL SOMEONE BAN THIS WUM IDIOT, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deep breath SP, and breathe.

Put him on ignore, it's quick and simple and has the same net result. ;)

I know, I know.
I think it all stems form the fact that originally, I stuck up for him as a good natured bufoon. I have spent so much energy trying to get him to see sense that I don't know how to stop. I have to believe that deep down ther eis some good in people

Alternatively, the Mods could just ban him as a pseudo-Nazi WUM. Sadly, I don't think he intends to be either. I think this latest round with the introduction of Tiote is just him trying to find common-ground - but it's such a fecking ridiculous thing to say.

Do you think that if we buy Tiote, the only option is to sell Sandro? No, not at all. I rate Sandro and Tiote as better players than Parker. Parker has been very good for us, don't get me wrong. He is now an old man, and I would rather take the cash for him now.
While all other people are worrying about that a player might leave the Club, I don't really worry that much about that, because I know that if you are good in the transfer market you can do great bargains and still be a top 4 team.

Behave. Parker was not signed with a view to getting our money back. DL would have agreed to buying him because of what he brings to the dressing room in terms of experience as well as what he can do on the pitch.

He will be a role model for our younger generation for the next few years and hopefully this will help one or two of them to break into the first team squad.

So please stop this borderline racist bullshit about only signing black French/Africans. I've not commented on it until now but you are really starting to offend.

what on earth would lead you to think that buying Tiote would be a "great bargain". What do you think he'd cost?

I don't see him as the only option, but if we can recoup the £5mill we paid for Parker, we have the extra money to splash the cash.

you didn't answer my question and your cliche "splash the cash" is directly contradictory to your previous "great bargain".

Look, you imbecile.
Parker is immediate, Sandro is his competition - that is the way it works. Livermore is the understudy to both. You don't buy two of the best up and coming players for the one single position, because sooner rather than later one of them is going to get pissed off and want to leave. Sandro will accept a short period of Parker being first choice because he knows it will be strictly temporary and that he will get his opportunity at being No. 1. He is also happy because the impact of Paker has been instantaneous, and Sandro can learn from him (particularly important because Sandro didn;t grow up playing in this league, Parker did). So yes, you plank, I am not asking you I am telling you, because these are the fucking stupid ideas you are getting due to your obsession with filling out our team with only African players. If we wanted to buy Tiote (for far more than we would get from selling Paker if that was what happened), the likely person to leave would not be Parker it would be Sandro. Also, as I have also already explained to you - WE DO NEED TO MAKE CHANGES IN OTHER POSITIONS, WE DO NOT NEED TO MAKE ANY CHANGES IN THIS POSITION AS OUR OPTIONS ARE SO GOOD AND THEY COMPLIMENT ONE ANOTHER SO PERFECTLY. Your only reason for even considering this, in a thread that isn't even about Tiote, it is about Mulumbu (who you also ridiculously wanted us to sell Parker in order to buy), is because you are obsessed with fitting everything into your pathetic and very stupid one single idea. It is a stupid fucking idea.

We ALL know that if you are good in the transfer market, you cretin, you can do great bragains and be a top 4 team. Considering how much he cost compared to the impact he had, Parker was just such a bargain - you idiot. You are insulting every single other member of this forum who will not adhere to your one very stupid idea by suggesting that you are the only person who understands that if you are good in the transfer market you can get bargains - due to the one, stupid idea you have. Now, listen carefully, because I am going to tell you again, me, most of the members of the forum who were alive at the time, and just about everyone in World football, understood fully that there were some great players coming out of Africa in the 1980s -ffs. Clubs all over Europe have been buying African players ever since then - no-one needs the great SpursKing to tell them this. Your idea is not that some bargains can be had from African football, it is that all players in a team should be from Africa. Why do you think no clubu has done that - it is because they are not fucking stupid, like you. As I have told you at least twice, previously, even these days are drawing to an end, African football is catching up fast, just like South American football. They have stadiums bigger than Old Trafford, now...your pathetic notion that we can get players from their for two bags of grain and a pair of flip-flops is insulting to African football, and just plain pathetic.

Now, I am going to tell you agian - until you lose this stupid idea that all players in a team should be African (because of your stupid, ill-founded borderline racist notions, that have been shown time and again on these forums to not stand up to scrutiny), I will tell you how stupid you and your notions are every time you post this crap. The only intelligent belief to have is that it doesn;t matter where a player is from or what clour his skin is, if he is good enough he is good enough - end of debate. Your pathetic desire to shoe-horn African players into every position in the club shows that you believe the opposite of that.

If I had my way, you would be banned form this forum - and I will say this until you show evidence that you have finally learned what people have been telling you for the last 8 years. Your ideas are wrong and offensive. If you stopped thinking you had this idea and it was great and realised that so many people have told you the same thing for a reason, because the idea is, actually stupid, you might actually make some progress. Until then, I am going to maintain that you should be banned.

I didn't actually read that post. It is probably the most offensive post I have seen here so far. Not that I care about it. I just want a discussion, and it is clear that we don't agree. That is fine. I have nothing against anyone here on the forum, and no enemies.
I will never have that. I write about interesting football business, which is one step ahead. Some people seem to stick to the old fashioned style of play, and think that Liverpool did great signings when they signed the likes of Downing, Adam, Henderson and Carroll.

You have to admit that the players I talk about are more interesting than them. I want Spurs to be successful. Do you?

... Mohamed Sissokho, Florent Sinama-Pongolle and Djimi Traore.
All good players back in the days, but it also depends on the team as a whole. That is something most people don't think about.

o_O I think that the almost unanimous verdict was that they had wildly overpaid for all of those.

Yes - I don't rate them as top top players now, but remember one thing - Djimi Traore won the Champions League with Liverpool, and he is still part of a good Club - Marseille.

So did Harry Kewell. And he's white.

It is not just the overprice. It is how you build a team. What you see as a good team. I want Spurs to have an exiting team.
