Woodgate was convicted of an incident which was worse than anything Carroll has done and didn't Woody smash up a McDonalds once too ? so even though Woody has an unsavoury past he was worth getting, Carroll is the same

Those Italian types always come out with rubbish, like the Palermo chairman saying we've signed Cavani and Kjaer and we hadn't even been in contact with them. In hindsight, Cavani would've been great.

I really think HULK would dominate in England, but there's been no real links to him at all other than a single Daily Mail story.

This must be a load of balls though....if its true we are already thinking about selling him soon...which would be disgusting.
I'm sure every chairman has a price for every player, doesn't mean we would actually sell at that price though.
Even if we don't get 4th I will be very surprised if we lose any of the big trio (Modders, Bale, VdV) next season.

it's not about the system, even in system with DOF the clubs should not buy players the head coach does not want

The gulf in class between Benzema and Carroll is absolutely enormous. It was very clear for all to see in the recent France-England game where Benzema had England's defence in knots while Carroll was just a big lump.

Have a look at who they signed.
Actually I'll include Chelsea because so far, they've drawn a blank this window.
Liverpool have paid double their initial bid to sign a partner for Torres...
Suarez is a good Tevez type player but Spurs felt he wasn't what we neeed, and he wasn't. He is not a traget man, more preferring to come in off the right flank and tuck in. We have Lennon in that role doing ok.
Birmingham. Come on!! They need fire power just to remian static and they do not dine at our table - indeed Keane denied being offered a deal in order to decline it. That says a lot about the quality of striker that Birmingham are pursuing.
West Ham have signed a crock. Signed - not loaned. He failed a medical at Stoke. Again Demba Ba? I doubt he was on Harry's C List of desparate last minute Rasiak type deals.
Spurs will have a specific type of player and profile of personality that they want to embellish our current squad. Cash will be spent when and if that player is made available to us.
