having read the comments, I don't really think it really says much. Only that he doesn't like the concept of back-up players and believes that every player should be trying to push themselves into the team, and try and be part of it. I think that's what every manager wants, but it doesn't change the nature of the actual wrong. Deeney btw would be a good impact player to partner Kane at points.

Yeah and what? We had news that he was offered to us, and that's all, not that we are interested. Alasdair dismissed that idea too.
I'm just saying it's funny seeing so many clamber for a striker and even bombarding the official Twitter with ridiculous hashtags only to reject one and then prefer nobody.
That should give Daniel Levy pause for thought.
