having read the comments, I don't really think it really says much. Only that he doesn't like the concept of back-up players and believes that every player should be trying to push themselves into the team, and try and be part of it. I think that's what every manager wants, but it doesn't change the nature of the actual wrong. Deeney btw would be a good impact player to partner Kane at points.Really wouldn't tie in with what Jose was saying earlier about a striker coming in and not feeling he was just ' a back up' and not just to 'support the team'. That's literally what Deeney would do.
