Sounds like a good match to avoid watching so far. Let’s hope we come out second half and at least have a couple of shots. I like Lucas in games like this. He scares defences like Burnley’s when he runs at them.
3 shots 0 on target shocking
Typical Burnley on a cold, wet, windy weeknight.Ain’t got a stream, so have been following the updates on Twitter….: don’t sound good. How do people on here see it?
That’s really a big part of the problem. When Burnley play the ball out wide, two or three of their players support the ball carrier. When we do it, our wide players are on their own, and the only pass option they have is back down the touch line.Left side : Sessegnon wont take on anyone and Son wont make the overlapping runs either. Both pedestrian.
Right side : Kulusevski taking some great position in pocket but Emerson is playing in a alternate universe where he doesnt see Kulusevski
dont blame sess for not pushing fwd further - son is all over the place and often there is no overlapping runner there so sess has to play cautiously infield and cannot stretch the play. Son has played terribly this half - head down, poor touches, no positional discipline - dare I say it, sub him for Bergwijn or LucasLeft side : Sessegnon wont take on anyone and Son wont make the overlapping runs either.
