I've just heard on Riviera Radio ( English language station broadcasts out of Monaco) that we have triggered a 15M release clause & he's expected to move soon. Don't remember the exact wording unfortunately

Its not however on their website

http://rivieraradio.mc/local-news-friday-8th-of-august/ (in case it updates & in case anyone cares!)

Are you from Monaco?? If not, why are you listening to a Monaco radio?

I think he's great, but I don't see us spending 15m in a 18yr old. Monaco signed him for 5m a season ago

I wouldn't get too excited. TalkSport often break 'exclusives' that are utter horse shit fabrications. So, you know...

Riviera Radio used to be shit when I lived there a few years ago, it had no news or sports desk, and no money, only good thing was when it used to switch to the World Service for the 2nd half of PL matches.

He's regarded here to be the best young striker in the world. Just won't get a game at Monaco.

Previously linked with Schalke
He did play last year, and I was impressed with how good he was at his age. But 15M is still too much.

he is a bit special but 15m euros is crazy money unless its a Levy special on the installment plan....we may be flashing our cojones on this one like LVG

It's still pretty shit Tbf, but they have turned themselves around. When did you live here? They almost went bankrupt in the early 2000's & we're a total joke but the current guys there have sorted it out

Late 90s, early 2000s. Used to live in Cap D'Ail.

that's 15m euros then, not pounds?

I know we were reportedly willing to spend 15m on Halilovic, but I just don't see it.

At current rates means it's just under £12 mill, if Levy has been led to believe this kid has so much potential it does seem that it could be an attractive target for him

Whether Poch is that keen or not is another matter, although he doesn't seem the kind of guy who would throw his toys out of the pram for being given a young promising striker, I guess his only objection would be if it impacted our ability to get a target he wanted

Of course the trouble with all these rumours is that if say an English paper starts a rumour it's picked up a day or two later in the players clubs country and repeated seemingly giving it more creedence, whereas the source can be the same

I see it a lot over here when we are linked with Spanish players you think it's coming from local then read it is only repeating the Express or Mirror etc.,
