Why a mess? Baldini offered it (presumably thinks he is complicit in AVB's downfall) and Levy rejected it. Everyone goes back to work.

And why should we get so would up about what AVB's mate and PR representative says anyway?
Completely agree...nothing to see here. He's Italian, probably mafioso, he was just doing the honorable thing

That article says Baldini's top 3 candidates are Yakin(doesnt speak english), Di Matteo(shocking at WBA) and Mancini.

Now if that was true, I would accept the resignation but I doubt any of that is true

It's not an...overly-encouraging list, is it? Although maybe they are currently the only remaining people who don't seem to have said "LOL, the Spurs job? No, ta".

I do like Yakin though...:cautious:

I would take Sherwood over any of them but Im sure the haters will come out and disagree despite never seeing the youth team play

Considering Di Matteo won champions league and Mancini won the Premier League once, I beg to disagree.

I guess you could be right and hopefully that is the reason he offered his resignation and nothing more sinister.

Mancini quote: "I like 1–0 wins. When you don't concede a goal and you have players like Edin Džeko, Carlos Tévez or David Silva, you win 90%. I prefer we are boring for two to three matches and we win 1–0. If you watch teams that won titles, they conceded very few goals.

Doesn't sound like a Spurs coach to me..

Mancini might be worthy of consideration. Though think adebayor could kiss goodbye to any chance of a return to the team

Well at least we rejected his resignation. Shows that we do value him going forward, which has to be a good thing

Mancini is very overrated. Only ever managed teams with massive domestic advantages. Found out in Europe each and every one of his six odd campaigns

Did he really? The chelsea players would disagree, they openly said they managed themselves and Di Matteo got sacked for not being able coach the West Brom defensively. He was shocking as west brom manager

Mancini lol, give Harry half a billon and he will win you the league hard not to win the league when you have players like Aguerro, Toure, Kompany, Zabaleta, Silva and etc.

Managerial honours
Fiorentina
Lazio
Internazionale
Manchester City

To me, this makes Mancini slightly more qualified than Sherwood.........

Yeah, I agree, shame that. That's a big barrier (albeit one Pochettino has overcome at Soton).
Pochettino can speak english and has ever since their training camp in his first week at barcelona when he took over but he doesnt want the press to twist his words. Basically he just has a PR guy doing the interviews for him.

As much as we dont like to admit it, Clint was actually a key player for us last season and did very well. Scored key goals for us and probably would have scored more this season. THe thing about him is that he has a nose for the goal and is always in the box. Those are some characteristics we really could use right now.
I thought you were banned.

Congratulations for telling me things that I already knew except the Lazio and the Fiorentina trophies none of that is hugely impressive. Serie A was in a state after the match fixing scandal that rocked Serie A where Milan had a exodus and Juve got relegated.
