Doesn't anyone else think this was a 'courtesy' offer to resign, put forward to share the responsibility in the expectation that it would be rejected? I do.

I don't think Baldini wants to leave. He was just trying to do the honourable thing.

How depressing.

We need to re group as a club. We are still in a decent place in the league. The season isn't lost.

Levy needs too pull some thing out of the hat.

Congratulations for telling me things that I already knew except the Lazio and the Fiorentina trophies none of that is hugely impressive. Serie A was in a state after the match fixing scandal that rocked Serie A where Milan had a exodus and Juve got relegated.
Fuck me, the guy couldn't get out of the CL group stage at two attempts and conceded the league to a mediocre Man Utd side by 15 points last season after spending in excess of £500m.

Would'nt touch him with your dog Beats!

Baldini isn't going anywhere..and I'll go out on a limb and predict that our next manager will not be one of those 3, and won't be sherwood, not in the know but they just aren't a good fit for our club at this time

Aye this is what I thought, given the circumstances it may have been a question in Baldini's mind if Levy would stick with the system or not too.

Quite honourable really, accepted that he has a fair share of the blame for our current predicament and was willing to fall on his sword.
That Daniel refused to accept it means one of two things, Baldini is held in high enough regards by him and the board or that Daniel has more pressing concerns be it the stadium, the club or his wife.

I hope it's the former but this is Spurs so it could be absolutely anything

Can't see anyone outside of the real key people knowing who is on the managerial shortlist.
Yeah, Burt's suddenly got access to it

I would take Sherwood over any of them but Im sure the haters will come out and disagree despite never seeing the youth team play
Sorry what has seeing our youth team play got to do with managing a squad squad valued at circa £150m full of seasoned internationals playing in the reputedly toughest most pressurised league in the world?

Check the article in tomorrow's Telegraph from Jason Burt:

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BcClhwICIAA0-hK.jpg:large

What a mess we are in.

Christ on a bicycle. Have you checked it?

Burt is AVB's mouthpiece.

'Baldini's shortlist is believed to include… ' Read: 'I don't have a fucking clue, I just made up this pile of turd.'

'It is also understood that Villas-Boas did not receive a lump-sum pay-off after agreeing to leave last Monday and is being paid his salary on a monthly basis by Tottenham.'

Think about this. It's actually quite interesting.

Otherwise, nothing to detain us unduly.

I would have to see what he does over the next couple of weeks. I know he was panned for the West Ham game, but I think his hands were tied before the game and his legs tied during it.
