Any of them, the only teams to fear are the English teams
How is Leipzig a sugar daddy club? They buy young players with high potential and have stuck within a budget since they purchased the club. To be promoted 7 times in 10 years is incredibly impressive and their success has largely been built on a strong system for both recruitment and coaching.Would love to play and beat Leipzig more than all the others, hideous sugar ( drink ) daddy club. PSG would be nice though, act like they’re European royalty but we’ve got a manager older than their club. Another plaything

I disagree. Both City and Liverpool seem worse than last year.
Liverpool worse than last year? They’re unbeaten and have only dropped 2 points in 17 matches... they’re an outstanding team. City have lost several games but they’re still a phenomenal side.
It doesn’t matter to me who we get in the KO round as I’m more confident now that Jose is at the club. He’s a serial winner and is experienced at how to handle different opposition. With each game, he is learning more about the individual players and will get it right soon (by that, I mean against top quality teams in the CL and other comps.)
cos we were pretty bad last year in the CL KO rounds?
Yes, but they are limping from victory to victory. Last season they smashed everyone, and didn't concede goals.
They've got a great mentality that gets them 3 points every game, but their quality has dropped.
They’ve got more points at this stage than last season, the only difference is their goal difference is 2 less than last season.

Sugar daddy club makes no sense and doesn't apply here at all.
But there's a huge difference between how Red Bull climbed up the pyramid compared to how a Man City was bought in the first division and infused with billions of dollars. They started a project in the 7th division. They didn't just buy a 2nd division team and financially dope it. They're not being bankrolled behind the scenes, they're largely self sufficient on transfer fees and how they run their academy.Really? Red Bull bankrolled the club from its very existence, do you think all them promotions were down to outstanding recruitment and coaching? They outspent everyone else on their level by miles.

Very little to be admired imo, at least when it comes to off the field antics. They’ve developed a very good scouting system and obviously have ties with Salzburg, again, another sour tasting relationship, but not for me. Sort of like a much more successful MK Dons scenario.

On top of that the club is literally an advert, and is essentially ignoring the 50%+1% fan ownership rule in Germany.Still a sugar daddy club. Without the millions pumped in by Red Bull, they wouldn’t even be the same club that currently exists. Literally. They didn’t just buy a 2nd division team and financially dope it...they bought a 7th tier team and financially doped it! They spent huge amounts to get to the Bundesliga.
Plastic club, without a doubt.

I work under the umbrella of Red Bull global football. Really, the only real complaint I can understand is the changing the crest/club name and their history. The rest of it, who cares? Here's a piece for all of you, examining all three points: https://www.dw.com/en/opinion-rb-le...desliga-and-thats-not-a-good-thing/a-51684675
Recruitment, marketing and ownership.

Because they take players from Salzburg? What's the difference between that and Chelsea loaning 20 players to Vitesse?
Because they market their brand through the team name? Every single club in Europe has a sponsor on their kits. How is Red Bull different to Bayer Leverkusen when it comes to name/logo besides Leverkusen having a longer history?
I really don't understand the hate, especially when City Football Group has far more teams under their umbrella and their owners are legitimately horrid people.
