Of all the teams we've played under Conte, Tuchel is the one manager that's got our number. Don't think this game actually tells us a whole lot about how we'll do this season other than...Tuchel still has Conte's number.

That said, Conte needs to seriously change things at half time. Think we could really use Bissouma and Perisic, while Richarlison would at least get stuck in.

Problem with hooking PEH is the fact we clearly need 3 man CM - Sarr really should have been on the bench here.

Possibility to drop Kane deeper and push Kulu up with Son.

Was about to say the same thing. There are times here where there isn't a single spurs player available in the middle. We're utterly conceding this game. Poor tactics and poor player performances is not a great combination. Conte needs to earn his corn at HT.

We could have been 3 down already and aren't competing. Nothing to do with the Utd. No one is willing to take charge here, and we're just letting them play.

If we finish the game losing 3/4-0 and continue playing the way we are, then I'll agree with your initial assessment of us being cowardly and pathetic. For now though, we're still in the game against a very tough side who rarely lose at home, despite how bad we've been so far

this is pathetic. struggling to see the point in this side at the moment - no threat up front, nothing in midfield.

i'd say Conte would be looking to make 7 subs if he could. Kane, Son, Sessengnon plus the centre midfield two have been horrific.

Since we've got 5 subs i'd bring on Perisic and Bissouma for Son and Sess. More aggression and control of the midfield needed. Put Kulu upfront for now and consider Richarlison after 10/15.
