im sorry but the people who are slating AVB for playing dempsey are too quick to forget that he wasn't an AVB signing to begin with! you cant blame the manager for trying to do the best that he can with the players at his disposable.

No AVB deserves slating when he gives that lousy, shitty player the full 90 minutes instead of starting the game with pretty much any other squad player who would have done something constructive. Especially when Tom Carroll is sitting on the bench imo starting Dempsey is inexcusable.

so you'd rather play a 20 year old yout with a couple of hours of prem experience and no goal scoring record in the league to begin with than a proven goal scorer with much more experience. yes you're right that is inexcusable. your statement is entirely logical

Yes I would because my eyes are connected to my brain.

Dempsey's proven to do nothing and be shit, Carroll's proven to do something and you only have to watch him for 3 seconds to see that he has better movement than most of our first team and provides an invaluable outlet for a pass.

Yeah, I would. When's he going to get experience then?

Can't be any worse than Dempsey. Dempsey is NOT a striker.

Yes every day in the week. Tom is hungry, Dempsey have no hart no desire to make a change. The first thing i want when the transfer open is to give Dempsey away as fast as possible, dont need any cash. when he is on the pitch it looks like he was dropped of in the desert with no god dam clue how to come back home. He is lost... dosent fit in a great club like this. (WE) fans have to recognize this. (WE) should defend our player to the last min everyday, but when someone like Duce have been more than awful hole season and spend more time moaning and dont run his but of like ADE done when ge dont got his things all there i want (US) fans to set down a fot and say this isn`t good enaugh. We have been saying shit about Ade hole season long but he see that the lad is trying he`s best but the things just dont work (at the moment) but Dempsey dont even fight for it. then I think it`s time to let him go. At least bench him for a few games, insted of defending a player that dont give his hart for our club. COYS!!!

ah so those goals against united were shit were they? may i remind you that we haven't beaten united at old trafford for 23 years. when was the last time we took away 4 points from them in a single season? he's scored what is it 5 or 6 goals this season? for a team who've relied almost entirely on defoe and bale as our goal threats this season i'd say any goal a player ships in counts. carroll is the future no doubt but if you think that he's ready for a full premier league game just yet you've got a lot of reassessing to do

Love u mate <3 A fan is about say when things a wrong aswell, not just support when things are good. need to be able to criticize our players when they dont fight for the team and are not good enaugh. All fans are very quick to give bad words to a manager but it is the players on the pitch that have to make the hard work aswell. And i dont think Dempsey have done that this year. COYS! Still believe 4th!

Because taking 4 points off MU defines our season. When's the last time we lost to Fulham or lost 4 points to Everton and etc etc etc

I backed him at the start of the season but my God he was awful today, terrible.

I'm all for giving players chances but he's obviously not good enough to play for us, certainly not a starter , may be able to come off the bench and do a job.

i personally think we underestimated fulham. we played a system that was really quite strange and they punished us for it (benny as LM ). to be fair the game at goodison was just unlucky. that pienaar goal really did catch us unawares. today they pretty much played a qpr game sitting back and giving us almost no space to exploit. having said that we still dominated them and to come from behind without our most potent threat can only be a good thing

I always thought he used to put himself about at Fulham, get in peoples faces and cause teams problems that way. He doesnt do that here. Not sure why. His shots are so tame as well. If you cant generate any power in your boots why do you continually take shots on from 30 yards.

He was still pretty bad in those games though IMO. He just does nothing all game, then may pop up with a goal every now and again. That's not good enough, I'd rather have someone who can pass and get involved but doesn't score, than Dempsey right now.

Mate u are blind in that win against Man U. Look at the losses against smaller teams that we would have won easy. that is what matters not just a single goal. does that win against Man u keep bale ? does that make us have CL fotball? does that make us better than manU in the leauge? Not mate. it about consistency to be able to play good week after week. to preform more that one game a season. Dempsey wasnt even good that game. U have to open your eyes and realise that he isnt a good player. And please tell me when u was happy with a striker that does 5goals a season. Come On u Yids i thought we had higher expectations that that.

Lets say. would u be happy with ADEs (hole) season if he scored 5goals in the last games now, i wouldnt. A season i longer than one game "remember that

isn't that why we have ade hehe. but in all seriousness football games are defined by the number of goals scored not by the number of passes created. those goals as rare as they might be are partly the reason why we are we are in a season that for all intensive purposes is meant to be one of transition
