Think Koeman has more silverware as a player and manager than Poch will ever see.

What they won during their respective playing careers is completely irrelevant.
As a manager, Koeman has won a couple of Eredivisie titles with the most successful Dutch clubs but other than that had largely proven himself to be a pretty bang average flaky manager. I know some people like to just count number of trophies and that's that but personally I think what Poch achieved with Spurs took more ability than winning the Eredivisie with Ajax does.

Yes, so much for a certain ITK.

Where will Poch go? Man U by New Year? Juve? All these top clubs seem like dinosaurs and hardly a good fit.

In Koeman's defense he also won the Eredivise with PSV and the Copa Del Rey with Valencia , but I still don't think he is anywhere near Pochettino's level

Or Poch was approached, the barca board leaked his name to the press, the supporters let their feelings about Poch be known so the barca board turned their attention to Koeman.

You really believe a club the size of Barcelona are hiring managers based on fan reaction?

They've gone for a yes man. Simple as that.

I have a weird feeling he will go to inter or psg .

If psg don't win on Sunday I can see tuchel going and poch is the perfect replacement

Inter seem pretty set but conte can be a powder keg of a man and i have a feeling he could walk or talk himself into being pushed.

Can't understand the obsession between Barcelona and dutch people. They're so ingrained to their culture of no hiring enshrined coaches.
Messi is wasting his last years in a Club who doesn't have an idea of how to win trophies; there's no more La Masia, there's no more Iniesta and Xavi. They need to spend money, as PSG and Madrid do.
They have the same team for years and that's why the others Clubs know how to play against them; and Suarez, Piqué, Busquets and Alba aren't the same players than they were five years ago. Messi has to leave, he's wasting his last years in that Club; he's the GOAT and he needs a Club at his level.

On the other hand; I would have love to see Poch managing Messi, but I think PL is better for him; and Barcelona is now a mess.

It's a political move - My Barca supporting mate hates Bartomeu (The president) says he is useless, wants to keep the status quo and the board happy, Koeman isn't likely to over step the mark nor get the fans to turn against the board.
From what I read, it seems abidal and his assistant wanted poch
