Team news from Conte presser:

About Rodrigo Bentancur, he has started to work. He's still not ready and also for the FA Cup game but we hope to have him back for the next Premier League game. About Richarlison we have to see and check the situation and for sure in the future he will have another MRI to understand very well his situation.

Kulusevski is not a serious injury but you know we need to monitor it day by day and tomorrow and then we take the best decision.

I don't know [if he can face Palace]. We have today and tomorrow to check his situation. We'll see. The injury is not serious. If the player gives his availability then he could play. Otherwise we have to wait and have patience for the next game.

Sounds like Deki may well feature tomorrow, Bentancur could be back for Arsenal, and still a fair level of uncertainty about Richarlison.

I would wrap Deki in cotton wool and save him for Arsenal. Id be surprised if we see Bentancur or Richarlison anytime soon fs.

From seeing the Conte interview on Spursplay I don't see Kulu starting the game , bench possibly if he is fit enough.
Conte sounded really positive about Gil , maybe he won't be moving this January.

Currently 100% think we'll lose. ?

I think this match needs a bloody reaction. If Conte isn't spitting feathers and absolutely furious then he can't be committed to keeping on with the job.

You'd surely expect our team to come out against palace with Contes words ringing in their ears and his boot recently dislodged from their arses. Need to see something more than a limp crap performance.

Eriksen’s late winner when we were chasing Chelsea?
We actually had 4 straight away wins not that long ago, including three straight 0-1 wins with Eriksen being the first, followed by a Kane headed winner and a Foyth headed winner.

Below is a great website for those who want to check old Spurs games history against particular teams

My XI : 4-2-3-1

Lloris
Emerson Romero Lenglet Davies
Sarr Hojbjerg
Gil, Kane,Perisic
Son

I would go for 4-2-3-1 with Son running forward with Kane slightly deeper to get more involved in the game. Sarr-Hojbjerg midfield.

I am also ok with Skipp coming in for Gil and we go 4-3-3. I dont think we are good enough to play back3 with no Bentancur Kulu and no proper WB.

Still regretting that we didn't go back in for Eriksen this summer. The number of games he could have impacted as AM in a 3

Now we find ourselves full of defensive midfielders and wingers and the only person capable of really being that AM is Kane and we don't really want him 40 yards from goal both in general and given how out of form Son is

Edit: obvs Conté is as interested in playing 3 across the middle as he is of players like Eriksen so a moot point unfortunately

Confidence at a new low judging by the match prediction post. Vs. Crystal Palace ffs. Things are bad.

Problem is now we're in push territory. The players don't look particularly happy and the temptation to put in less than 100% to get rid must be quite high. Son looks like he is hating playing. As somebody said he is constantly getting the ball with back to goal and at the mercy of reckless defenders who will take him out without a thought

This might well be the all-important game because, as it stands, we'd be incredibly lucky not to get stuffed by both Arse and Citeh. So league-wise we could be looking at DLLLL and that's not counting how lucky we were to win some of the previous plus the awful displays against Forest and Newcastle

confidence is rightly very low at the moment as the level of performances have been ghastly. Add in the crowd factor on a cold and wet Wednesday night and this lot will more than likely crumble before a ball is kicked.

that said we all thought the same against Marseille and look how that turned out so you never know which I guess is what keeps us all watching and coming back here.

That team right there will lose tonight, we all know the issue with it, zero creativity! First time in a very long time I'm not looking forward to the game and think a loss to add to the current negativity is inevitable.
