Fuck it, I'm going to the Portsmouth game on Saturday. Haven't been since the Watford game at the end of Poch's time and I was absolutely ready to write off the twenty quid and stay up here in Norfolk with my wife/sister. Fuck knows how I'm going to get there with the trains but if we can perform like the 2nd half then it'll be worth it.

Hope Conte sees what Sarr and Gil bought to the team and realises he can be a bit more adventurous with his team selections when the first choice eleven is hit by injuries and the backups aren't performing.

Royal was naff when he came on and we suddenly looked quite vulnerable down that side but the fans booing and jeering him are an embarrassment.

He most certainly did, was talking to them through the game and referenced them after the game.

Sarr's mobility is off the scale, He fit like Kante.

I still think Skipp could be a good solid player for us, but he is awful when he gets forward.

Not sure why Conte tried to get him to be a box to box midfielder (I do, because we didn't have any... )

Sarr just looks a talent on the ball and works hard off it.

Conte wants a strong 14 players(?) With some younger back up option. I think Skipp and Sarr can be the back up options for now.

Yeah Skippy is much better as a deep lying player, break up play, niggle at the oppositin and move the ball quickly, his passing is good when it's out into the feet of attackers or down the channels but he isn't creative or someone who can run at defenders in tighter spaces.

Great performance from spurs. It’s also nice to play a mid table team that actually plays like a mid table team!

Well well well... not sure where 4-0 came from given the state of things at HT but fucking hell just what we needed. Palace did fold pretty weakly, but you could see gradual signs of life emerging from our lot as the score-line got better and better. Players started to control a ball, take it on the turn, had some zip about them, wanted to make runs, put some combinations together between them. All things we have lacked for many many weeks.

Long way to go to until we can say standards and performances are back to somewhere near their best, but lets hope that second half gives a bit of breathing space, some confidence and momentum, and is the first step in getting back there.

You could clearly see the confidence pouring back into them couldn't you? Was very pleasing to see. Lot of work and improvement required but hopefully we'll look back on this one as a bit of a turning point in our season.

We needed a good win today badly.

Probably doesn’t leave his office much anymore. Too afraid Conte or Levy will catch him chatting with the other about how things are going with their respective transfer targets.

We need to start believing and working harder as a team. It wasn't our best performance but something towards where we want to be. Lets build momentum and with players returning , it can only get better- Skipp in not match fit, Son needs to lose the mask and Dier/Lloris needs to consentrate to be at thier best.
