I didnt realise till now that Eze & Olise both injured for the game.

We got to score early there. Palace have not scored at home stadium since 3rd september. Hopefully we catch them in similar form and win this.

Going 5 points ahead will be huge for this team ahead of Chelsea game

As for as people suggesting resting players...laughable. Rest for what ? I get it if they are injured completely.

Bissouma - better play the full 90 minute, show discipline in not getting a cheap yellow and make up for his last game.

I see Schlupp, a man who has a habit of scoring important goals against us, is fit again just in time to play us.

It's not really about resting, it more about getting bench players game time.
It doesn't work like that. They get game time when coming on with 20 or 30 to go when we are hopefully leading comfortably or when injuries, form or suspensions allow for it. If it isnt broke don't fix it. You worry about what is in front of you not up ahead. Win and go 5 points clear would be a massive statement to the rest of the competition. Not to mention the belief in the players and what it would do for the psyche of the club, its supporters, and everyone who loves Spurs as much as we all do.

Bentancur should be fit and ready for the Chelsea game so i'd play Bissouma against Palace. Selhurst is never an easy place to go and we need to focus on the next game in front of us rather than too far into the future. If he does pick up another yellow then at least we still have a replacement to come in.
I doubt Bentacour starts for some time yet unless injuries and form make it necessary. I imagine he will be integrated slowly and they have an eye on him being ready to play through the busy Xmas schedule and then all of January when Bissouma and Sarr are at the African Nations Cup. That's assuming he manages to get back to where he was or close to, as coming off a knee recon, there is no certainty in that in the short term.

The last time we went to Palace with an unbeaten manager (Nuno) it ended in tears with a 3-0 loss.

I think we have a better team this time around though 🤔

Don’t need Bentancur playing till after the next international break in November. If he plays before that, Uruguay will probably pick him and who knows what might happen out there.

You think coming on for 20 minutes when a game is won is the same as starting and playing for 70 minutes?

It's not going to be a stroll tomorrow in my opinion. Palace love to giant kill at their ground, and are exceptionally good at playing a low block and making things difficult. We'll need to be clinical and take our chances which we haven't done lately. If we do, we'll win. If we don't..... we might be in for a long evening.

They will get chances, albeit fewer than us, but we need to restrict them as much as possible to stop a smash and grab which is what they will be aiming for.
