Yeah but its Yankspurs, he's, shall we say, different :)
I'd much rather save the thousands of dollars it would cost me to see a surefire loss when i could just watch it at a bar for the cost of alcohol. If i was in England, id rather save the ~£200 and watch us lose in a bar while i get wasted.

The economic climate is in an awful state right now. Better off saving where you can. Your need is greater than the utility you get for going to the game.

Had no contact but just checked my account and I've been allocated a £40 ticket in the gods! I have 298 LPs what did you need to get a good seat?

That's the spirit!!!

I'm sure there is some really sad Bradford fan sitting at home saying "I'm glad i didn't waste all my hard earned money travelling all the way to Stamford Bridge just to watch a sure fire loss, what a relief I can have an extra pint in the pub tonight".

Extra pint? Soft.

Try about 6 extra pints

Email from club just came through so i am definitely going. I don't want to complain and i guess seeing a cup final for £40 is not bad i just think i have invested so much over the past few years i would have liked to have been a bit closer to the action.

I have 391 and got one in the gods as well. I am not sure how they worked it out?

Can only imagine it's partly down to how they've kept groups of successful applicants together(?). As I'm also in the heavens but I only just got a ticket with 204 pts.

I'm not sure why people are getting their knickers in a twist that the club is giving tickets to staff and family members.

What is going to piss everyone off is when they see thousands of ticket on Stubhub, Seatwave,Get me in etc etc

Email from the club:

We have now carried out the necessary analysis of ticket applications that were submitted by the deadline for the Capital One Cup final against Chelsea on Sunday 1 March. We can confirm that the number of loyalty points required for a ticket is 185 and above.

Did you apply on your own? I have 335 points and I'm in block 507, but I applied with two others, one of whom didn't make the cut off. Yet I applied individually for the Chelsea FA Cup semi and got a ticket in the lower tier.

Yup on my own as other members i know knew they wouldn't have enough points and ST holders couldn't apply with members. Thats why i thought I'd at least get a £75 if not £90 ticket. Again, made up to be going at all but would like to understand how they allocate seats, especially as you'd think singles would be filling gaps all over the place.

I watched an England game in the gods. Couldn't even see Defoe, didn't realise he was playing till the announcer read out his name.

Also I couldn't even stand from my seat due to the vertigo inducing height and when I left I went full grandma grabbing hold of every seat I could to help me get out.

It won't happen for this game, I don't think those sites are allowed to put them up.

I have been told how to get rid of mine for a price which could be anywhere up to half the price of my season ticket but obviously I won't be doing that. It'll probably be my first and last Cup Final.....
