Only cup final I've been to was 1999 league cup. Didn't think we would have enough points, but attending that horrible run of games against Wimbledon (we played them 5 times in one month) seemed to get us bonus points.

I remember that "tussle" with Wimbledon. 3 draws (inc two 0-0), a 3-0 win where Allan Nielsen scored with 25 yard ricochet and Steffen Iversen sending us to Wembley with the greatest goal he ever scored.

The heady days of George Graham's tenure!

Wasn't that in the days before loyalty points? You used to have to collect the cup final vouchers every time you went to a match then send them in with a slip from the Members booklet with a blank cheque. I think the members tickets for that final were done by a random ballot. The only way you knew were going to Wembley was when the tickets arrived in the post after an agonising wait!

Those Wimbledon games were awful!

Quite possibly right about how it was done.
Worst bit about the Wimbledon games is that not only were they boring as hell, it was freezing cold too!

Just be lucky you can get tickets. For many fans who don't live near London they stand no hope of ever going to such an event.

I dont live in london. Heck i dont even live in england. 14 hours away by flight to be precise. Guess what? I got me a seat :)

just got in but i cannot apply for 3 together......is this correct?

If you have the member details of the other you can apply for one ticket each, I just applied for 4, 1 nailed on 220 pts (hopefully), 2 maybe's at 165 and 155 respectively and 1 no chance at 125.

Mines the 220 so screw the others.......................................

I'm guessing the area/grade seat is just based on your loyalty points? The higher the points, the better seat you get?
