Depends what you mean by 'some time now'. He was less than spectacular for Juve last season, but for Werder he was often superb—although he does have a shorter fuse than Rooney and is even easier to wind up.

I think he was refering to Robinho....

If that figure is to be believed, £13m odd, that seems like great value in the current overflated transfer market. I get the feeling his wages would be a issue for us.

Sorry not seen this thread until now.

Firstly my post was a question as I had been given some information and I was curious to see if any of the better connected Itks had any knowledge.

I'm surrounded by people on a regular basis who give me transfer gossip. Most of these I trust as their knowledge is top notch, however I very rarely get given info in relation to spurs.

In the last year I think I've been given no more than 5 or 6 names linked to us, but so far apart from a few links in the press none of these have come to fruition.

I seem to remember you having a go at me for suggesting Diego a few months back? What's changed your mind?

Remind me of the context, he's a player I've always liked so I must have disagreed with something more specific than just the fact that you suggested him? Maybe I thought he'd be over priced when we have many similar to him? Or maybe you suggested replacing a player I liked? It seems unlikely that I just dismissed him as a bad player who wouldn't serve any purpose with us, though who knows, I'm quite nuts.
