I don't think he could more clearly say that this team are not of any kind of standard. He's seen all he needs to see.

I think, and im guilty of it, there has been sentiment and giving players benefit of the doubt. We have an elite manager here and they put on such a performance - basically watershed moment for them - no more sentiment, no more benefit of the doubt. Id fucking let some of them get their own flight home and have their P45 on their doorstep.

Dont wanna see some of them anymore... no more thats it. Time for immediate change and discarding. Enough hoarding.
I'm not there yet, I'd be blind if I said I don't think some of them tonight have made their chance of making it under Conte extremely more difficult but I know from previous regimes, we've seen players come in early doors for the manager and look awful but after a few months they've adapted and they're off to the races, Dembele being an example but we'll see. I'm not expecting too much to happen in January so I always felt the players had until the summer but who knows. It's been a difficult two years and as I say tonight I didn't think it was about a lack of effort, what I do know is that we need to be prepared for more games like tonight in the short term and accept maybe this season is about looking through the debris and seeing what's salvageable to build upon and what isn't.

If he doesn't get the changes he wants in January then I really think he will walk at the first bigger opportunity - a bit like Ancelotti did at Everton.

I can see him walking out before Christmas, as I think he knows he's inherited a bag of shite that is only going one way,,

Don't see that happening but it could certainly start turning sour by the end of the January window if he hasn't seen us make the moves in the market he feels are necessary. The guy doesn't seem to suffer fools and if he gets a whiff those above him are not on the same page as him, do fear things could fall off a cliff.

At the same time, he'll know January isn't the window to make wholesale changes but think he'll want to get the ball rolling with at least 2 in with a push to get out a few who he'll feel he is wasting his time trying to get a tune out of..

Man that is a marker set down by Conte. He’ll be off in feb unless heavily backed going from those comments he knows he can’t win here in 2 years.

We’re fucked

Nice to hear him calling them all out.

Some proper wasters playing for us happy to collect their wage and that's it.

I think Conte is already there to be honest... Im usually giving players benefit of the doubt a fair bit, whilst others slate Dier or Lucas - I really like them - they give it their all and they do have some quality. But ive lost it now, it is like it just hit me - so itll hit you sometime haha...

Youre right about quality though... I also think merely some are just stale here... the end has been reached here at this club for several and we just need to get rid... once it goes stale, you cant refresh. You just discard and replace.

The problems run a lot deeper than just personnel, although there are clearly problems with personnel than run a lot deeper than just playing ability.

Also It's not the worst thing to have moments like this so it's abundantly clear to the powers that be that if we're serious then some aggressive changes will need to be made either in January or the Summer. If Conte with this kind run had just blown every1 away then perhaps it would have created an attitude of, he can do it with what he has.

I don't know, clearly I'm not as mad as everybody else but then I ultimately saw the conference league as a hindrance which would be nice to win and think for the long term this result might do us some favours.

Lets make it clear, if we are not able to rebuild fast and Levy accepts a huge loss on players to revamp AND if conte walks, we are looking at fighting relegation in 2 years!

4 managers the last 2 years and levy needs to act just as fast with players as he did with them, as it is clear, it was never the managers fault in this team,.

Slightly concerning comments

How so?

Brilliant if you ask me. He's saying it exactly how it is.

Levy let this squad rot and then sprinkle in some shoddy recruiting and we've been left with a mess.

Conte needs backed properly...like he said, he's not a magician.

Poch said we needed a painful rebuild and Levy ignored it.

Its Levy's pain now...as there's no hiding place.

The squad is fucking poor and Kane, Son cant continue to carry it.

Time to make up for some very poor decisions Daniel.
