Anyone heard of an emergency meeting held today between Conte, Fab and Levy? Reported via a source on twitter. If true - I am delighted, it needs to happen.

13:51 - Prosecutor Chiné has asked for 9 penalty points for Juventus, as well as 16 months of inhibition for Agnelli, 20 months and 10 days for Paratici, 10 months for Cherubini, 12 months for all the other directors. However, the Court of Appeal will still have to decide whether to reopen the trial. If so, it will decide on the sanctions required by the federal prosecutor's office. For the other 8 clubs and their respective managers, the prosecutor Chiné has asked for fines.
After all that they are going after Paratici the hardest. How was he the mastermind behind all this. Are is there more to it? Also, only 9 points for Juve seems not that bad at all. I was expecting a much harsher punishment.

We pay him because we'd likely be even further down the table.

Fans keep coming up with these ideas of moving to a back four. You're right Lenglet played in a 4 at Barca but don't you realise that he is now with us because he wasn't good enough in a back 4. If do go 4 at the back do you honestly trust Davies/Sess Royal/Doherty and 1 of Dier, Sanchez, Tanganga or Lenglet to somehow suddenly stop making mistakes and become a solid defender?

Richy doesn't want to play on the right either, he doesn't even look comfortable there any time we put him there.
It wouldn’t be ideal with the current personnel but the main thing for me would be if we played a 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 we could control games better and spend more time attacking which would naturally take the pressure off the back 4 and goalie.

It was the same issue under Nuno and Jose because they didn’t play a possession based game. We have players like Bissouma and Bentancur who with say a Kulu in a n.o10 role could control and dominate games way better than we are now.

And for people who say we played 3 in the middle in a 3-5-2 against man.I and it didn’t work, that’s because we just got pushed back into a 5-3-2 and playing 5atb sacrifices a player in attack which means If you get pushed back, you struggle to find an out ball.

Jesus Christ this is too hard.... None of those clubs have Daniel fucking Levy making the final decisions though do they.

Is it really so hard to work out. He's like Keyser Soze to some of you lot.
But is Levy going anywhere soon considering he has a stake in the club?

You don’t have to be pro-Levy to think that Conte might not be the right fit for THFC.

So assuming that Levy is going nowhere fast, isn’t it better to revert to the type of manager that can build a project, play front foot football, play promising youth and work within the framework we have? We can still sprinkle the first XI with experience and class, but we also need to seek out the next bright thing. I really don’t think that’s something Conte will do.

At the moment we just seem to be banging our head against a brick wall.

Lest we forget

Levy once replaced project manager AVB with proper football man Tim Sherwood

Levy followed high press Poch with lowest of the low blocks in world football Mourinho

He hasn’t a clue. God knows what random name he will appoint after Conte

what ever type of manager we have Levy will interfere. He won’t secure the players needed now for the first team he will instead secure investments

we are in a death loop. Keep conte. Conte goes. Nothing changed until Levy goes.
?? Couldn't have said it better myself.

But you can't change it with Conte. That is necessary step if we are ever going to ditch the wrong plan. Sacking Conte isn't solution on it's own, but sticking with Conte means there won't be solution. It's simple as that. Getting rid won't guarantee any change on plan, sticking means there isn't change on plan.

Levy want's to have the pressure valve of sacking a manager AGAIN as a scape goat and to not be held accountable.

Away fans last night were sending the message that it isn't going to work.

So the ball is now in Levy's court.

There are no more excuses. Either we're a serious club that wants to match Conte's ambition, or we're not.

That doesn't mean a £300m window. It means £150-200m + sales spent over 18 months and spread over 3-5 yr payment terms.

Future proof it by making this the formation and system we're going with for 5-7 year cycle, and any Coach after Conte has to fit within it.

We'd still be spending less than everyone we're trying to finish above, but enough to get us on the field and have a go.

After that, be conservative and buy all the prospects you want to eventually rebuild and regenerate the team more cost effectively.

It's not appeasing the players though is it, they're not the ones picking themselves, signing themselves and not replacing themselves. Do you honestly think Hugo right now really wants to be starting everygame or do you think he feels a sense of responsibility? He can't sign a goalkeeper in january can he.

Well in his recent comments, he made excuses for the Arsenal and City mistakes he made so no, he is shying away from Responsibility and thats poor form for a captain.

No neither does Brighton's Sporting Director or Fulham's or Newcastle's or even Edu. Yet an argument could be made that they are out performing Fabio in the transfer market to obtain the players their clubs require...no?
True....But none of the mentioned are working with Levy!
