Why do you want Korea and why is it a shame it's in Qatar?

OK.

Qatar:

40c+ - football is going to be TERRIBLE. No human can run in that for 90minutes. No infrastructure in place...hardly a footballing nation.

S Korea:

A great up and coming country in Asia.

Incidentally are those attacking the BBC for the timing of their show also saying that Sky should get it in the neck for reporting on the trouble at the Villa game?

Presumably in order to help our bid Sky should have supressed the story until we won?

You do realise Korea is one of the most dangerous countries in the World with some of the poorest human rights today?

North Korea, don't think South Korea.

Btw, I gotta admit the stadium Qatar plan to build look spectacular.

They plan on air-conditioning the stadium which can bring the temperatures down to 20 degrees Celsius. But I agree about them having no footballing history, but i guess they have 12 years to build(buy) a football team.

Oh come on. Let's face it, we only lobbied for the 2018 Championships because it would mean England wouldn't have to qualify.

Exactly. It was boisterous fans showing their love for the game.

Though to be fair our fans attacking eachother is better than making monkey noises at black players as happens in Russia. But what's a bit of obscene racism when there are 'frontiers to push back'.

Wind yer neck in mate. I said quite some time ago that I hoped it would go to Russia, partly because of the Eastern European aspect, but mainly because of those applying to host it, the Russians throw by far the best parties and people agreed with me.

It also has the advantage of forcing them to open up to foreigners a little more than they do regarding the visa situation and it's made me a few quid into the bargin.

My joy has nothing to do with "winding-up" strangers on a bloody internet forum, and everything to do with the fact that I believe it's genuinely gone to the best place and I think it'll be a brilliant World Cup out there.

I just hope for their own safety that African nations pull out of the Russia World Cup, they'll get lynched by the Russian Nazi clang. If we qualify we'd better take a whole team of white players as well, bad isn't it that one has to think like that.

As for Qatar, No alcohol so no English, German, French, Italian fans, What about clothing, I guess everyone will have to wear towels or whatever they call it, you know the white toweling that they wear over in the Middle East. Women wearing full burkha's  For god sake don't get caught doing sexy things on the street or you'll be put to death most likely. Can you even celebrate a goal over their without breaking some sort of religious law?

There will be alcohol.
Hassan Abdulla al Thawadi, chief executive of the Qatar 2022 World Cup bid, said the Muslim state would also permit alcohol consumption during the world’s most watched sporting event. Specific fan-zones will be set up during the event, they will provide alcohol for sale.

I think people need to forget about the negatives, what's done is done, just start focusing on the positives.
