At the moment neither mate. The misses is from Brazil and i've lived out there for about 5 years total now, at moment back in UK, but will be back more perm in the near future. I was in Brazil when i became an SC member, hence the username.

Not heard anything other than rumours about the knee, but it's not something Santos would want to make public knowledge if true as his value goes down by about 90%.

Cheers for the reply, missus from Brazil eh you lucky dog?! :sneaky:

he's out of the santos squad today amid rumors he's refusing to play for them again.
now would be the perfect time to make a bid levy!

Any details on why he's refusing to play?

I'm surprised he even wants to move. I thought he was going to stay at Santos for at least 3-4 more years. But they do play at the same position, don't they?

Ganso won't play for #Santos again, as Delcir Sonda (Sonda owns 55% of Ganso's economic rights) just confirmed to 'Rádio Estadão ESPN'.

If it's true that it's all about the money he might have problem finding a new club, considering those injuries he has got.

yep, brazilian media reporting that ganso is going to join internacional as the investors that own most of his rights want to buy the remaining % from santos and move him to inter.

Well if he's going to Internacional, maybe Oscar is signing for us.

if he's going to inter, then im definately feeling a double deal for oscar/leandro is on the cards for us.

inter have well known money issues and forlan and ganso will both be wanting top dollar. they surely cant accomodate all 4 of them

I really hate it when players refuse to play for their clubs. It just shows a complete lack of respect to the club, his teammates and of course the fans. Now, if they are withholding his wages or have otherwise treated him badly I could understand, but going on a strike just because he wants to leave for another club is disgraceful in my opinion.

I guess that's just the way football is, but players like that get no love from me. Not that they'll be missing it anyway.. :)

Ganso was really highly rated when he first broke through but it seems he really lost form and has struggled to get close to his potential. I think he'd probably struggle in the Premiership and I really don't see us moving for him.

Rumours on Twitter last night that he was going to Arsenal for £17m. Only one person running the story though, so possibly rubbish

I'm sure Ganso was one of the Brasilian players who said that he wanted to stay in Brasil leading up to the World Cup. Having said that he also said he wanted to play alongside Neymar for ever and is now refusing to play so who knows. I do think some of the advisors the Brasilian players have are very dodgy.
