I'm not surprised Kane would want to leave if we don't do anything this season.

The guy is a world class striker who deserves a world class set up and team to play with. I just fear that it would be a Man City or dare I say it Man United.

This is a crossroads season in my view. Massive season.

There will be riots if the little goblin doesn't stick his hand in his pocket to match Kane's ambitions.

Sports direct have a deal on shin pads at the moment in preparation.

Their won't be. People will be talking about doing a Leeds and reminding us again of the 90s and the training ground. It's really boring

i think Kane's a gonner regardless of what we do in the transfer market. I'm pretty sure he would've left this summer had it not been for covid and the disruption it has caused.

And who can blame him for wanting to leave given the direction our team seems to be taking.

I don't think Real Madrid will come for him, they will go for Mbappe or Haaland.

The only positive thing for us next summer is the fact that Mbappe has said he wants to leave and doesn't Haaland have a release clause that becomes active next summer? Plus Messi will be out of contract.......so it could be a busy summer for high profile transfers and the big clubs, maybe Kane would get overlooked.

I wouldn't blame him at all for leaving. I think this will get ugly if he wants out, because I dont see any team getting close to the value we will demand eventually.

As long as Kane doesn't let his thoughts show on the pitch I really don't care.

Can’t blame the lad. We all kinda knew this would be coming.

but it is absolutely unacceptable that Daniel didn’t give us that summer we needed when we looked so close. While we had a bunch of great players and arguably one of the best strikers in the world

I genuinely don't know who comes in for Kane, even next summer. There are a tonne of questions about whether he'll ever really recover his best form.

I can't remember the last time the ball really felt like it was sticking to him, or he was striking huge fear into opposition CBs.

I would imagine there is a good chance of him leaving next summer because I do not seeing us becoming CL / PL title contenders in the next three years and he wants to maximise what he can achieve. Anyway - let's enjoy him this season.

We have been and will be served a plate of turd and as fans, we have loved it and still asking for more like Oliver twist.

At this point, I don't give a monkeys anymore. If anyone believe we have seen the worst with the on pitch activity, then you must be dreaming.

We have fallen down it is ridiculous, the next will be our top players leaving. We don't even have much top players so it won't even be an issue.

The joke, imagine west ham getting pep as their manager and only buying players of 15m or not getting quality addition to support pep. I will be laughing my head off.

Ok, now let's hear about our spanking training ground. Training ground never won anything.

Did you see the end of last season when he single handed dragged us to 6th? He always takes a few games to get going and he had 0 pre season but his scoring record when he is fit is still ridiculous. The only hope we have is that he will have little re sale value at 29 so it will be a big gamble for someone to spend the kind of money we would accept and Kane is unlikely to force a move.

I did, and while he scored a lot of goals, I still thought he didn't look close to his best self. I get that it's not all on him, but it's also hard to think he hasn't lost a bit from his all round game.

So at the end of 20/21 season and another meh Spurs season has unfolded, Harry goes to Levy to discuss his future.
His agent backs Harry in saying he needs a new challenge. Levy will pour cold water on this instantly by saying his value is set at £150m (you can set your own fee if you feel this is not enough).

No other club in the world will have the ability to pay this fee.

Unless Harry has a clause we are unaware of (not likely with Levy in charge) or he kicks up a public stink (can’t picture it but maybe) I don’t see how he leaves before summer 2022 when he’s down to two years left. He just doesn’t seem to have leverage.

This doesn’t make me any less concerned by Trix post as an unhappy Harry is not going to be good for anyone.

I feel like this window is the one for Levy to push the button on one of the hot new strikers like Patson Daka because if as seems likely Kane will go next summer a Kane tax will be put on any striker purchases and they'll still have to bed in which you can't afford in that position.

I don't really see how Bale is the answer for keeping Kane. Surely it has to be Grealish. Grealish creates the most chances from open play on the Prem, more than De Bruyne. Grealish is such a exceptional talent and crazy that he's possible available. We should move heaven and earth to sign him, so he can supply Kane.

If we had the same squad as last season, but with Grealish, instead of the "necessary" striker, Doherty and PEH, we'd be much stronger.

I don't get the insistence on buying a RB and DM, when after the restart, we weren't conceding, but we still weren't scoring much. We need to find 20+ goals per season and that doesn't come from buying a 2nd rate back up striker, a RB and a DM.

I totally accept we were weak in CM, we lacked cover for Kane and Aurier is unpredictable. But even with all of those things, the stand out reason why we struggled last season was because we scored just 61 goals, despite having lots of good finishers. We don't create anything. Signing Dost, Wilson or Vinicius, isn't going to solve that, nor is Doherty.

If we'd have Grealish last season, we'd have finished 3rd in my opinion. The players we've signed aren't going to help us finish 3rd this season.

With a player like Grealish, Kane would set the record for number of goals scored in a Prem season.

You only have to look at how Liverpool and City have become so dominant and it's by buying amazing players. It's that simple. It's better to buy one top class player, that will be a standout for years, than a bunch of also rans, that cover the gaps we have in the squad.
