If we win something this season and Conte signs a new contract, I can't see Harry leaving.

He is not going to the Bundesliga in a million fucking years

The arrogance of these pricks is laughable. Maybe in Germany they can bully the shit out of teams with them media bollox but England’s captain leaving the best league in the world when he is a few seasons from becoming the greatest ever goalscorer in search of a league title that my boys u8’s team could get close to….. come on

Stop embarrassing yourselves Bayern, it’s not a good look

I agree. It’s utter nonsense. I don’t even see Bayern as relevant any more than Porto or Ajax and the German league is a one horse race joke.

To be honest Kane would be fairly stupid to sign a new contract right now. I’d love him to but next summer he’ll actually have control over his own future for the first time since he signed his last contract in 2018. If he signed now, a poor season and Conte leaving in May (always possible) would leave him in a pretty awful situation. The problem for Kane is that he obviously wants Shearer’s record and City are off the table now with Haaland. If our season collapsed and Chelsea/United came top 4 I’m sure they’d both be sniffing as both have long term vacancies at 9. Levy wouldn’t have the power to stop a move with 1 year left. Kane would naturally rather not go to Chelsea but you can’t rule it out. I wonder though that if we find ourselves out of the CL next season with no obvious Prem move for Kane if the Bayern move becomes a possibility. He’d obviously like the goalscoring record but the prospect of another year of his prime out of the elite club competition might be one too grim. Obviously this is all hypothetical and I’d be fairly confident that if we finish top 4 he’d sign some sort of deal. But in my head Kane’s career only has 3 paths. Staying at Spurs till he’s basically finished at the top level, moving to Chelsea/United next summer or reluctantly accepting a move to Bayern. Let’s hope he chooses/has no choice but to choose the former.

somebody will pay him twice as much money as Spurs. hard to imagine him staying past next year.

Agree to a point, especially as it feels he was fucked off about not being allowed to move to City.
Though feel that if we have success on the pitch and Conte is around then he may stay.

Really? So you consider one the worlds biggest and most successful teams, the same as Ajax or Porto? The bundesliga is still a top 5 league and Bayern are still a club that are miles bigger than us. The arrogance of English fans to think a super club like Bayern isnt attractive to someone like Kane, who just had the top striker in the world for a number of years in Lew, is laughable.
Do you think all those German players sit there and think dam I’ve won nothing of note by winning all these trophies with Bayern.
Did you consider juve a joke team when they won the league countless times in a row?
You forget Bayern won the champions league in 2020 but I guess that achievement doesn’t matter?

Of course they don't, but Harry isnt German is he?

They are a much bigger club than us, but in England, you know, the country he is the captain of, they are much more irrelevant.

They have lost arguably the best striker of the last 10 years and are struggling to find an adequate replacement, they are using their usual bullshit tactics of running off in the media that works so often with bullying other German clubs. They are a horrible club, like Madrid, like Barcelona. A horrible club that hate not getting their own way and a horrible club that is scared of the Premier league. They are trying to stay relevant by linking themselves with him. At the end of the day if he leaves, which he very much might do, it will be to another top team in England. If he is saying he would like to go there, i would only assume its to get a better deal from elsewhere.

I really cannot see a World he goes there in 2 years, from listening to him and watching him over the years and more recently, getting Shearers record would be much more meaningful than winning a bloody Bundesliga by beating teams like Gruether Furth or whatever they are called 8-0 every week.

Of course, Kane, like anyone else, would be interested in a move to Bayern. It doesn’t mean he will go but it keeps his options open.

His brother is also motivated to do a deal like this because it will make his name if he can broker a major international transfer. His brother would tell Bayern he’s interested to keep the transfer option open.

What’s more interesting is why this keeps coming out/ being reported. Who gains what by leaking behind the scenes, unofficial talks between Kane’s camp and Bayern? And who gains by ensuring this story continues to rumble?

One possible explanation is that Bayern’s director of football wants his superiors and the fan base to see that he’s working on a major move to replace Lewandowski, to reduce pressure or criticism. The point is that there’s a lot more to the story than simply Kane to Bayern. It’s just far too early for the actual transfer to seriously be on the cards just yet.

It doesn't matter if he is German or not. Mane just went there from Liverpool... he went there for a reason, didn't he.

I agree the reason he may stay in the league is to break Shearer's record but to think Bayern isn't a club that can attract players from other big-name clubs is laughable. Why did De ligt just push for a move there?

Yes, they bully other teams in the league but they are still a team with a massive pull that can pay very big wages.

I'm sure if mane wins the league this year hell not celebrate it like he won the premier league, will he? Silverware is silverware and at a club like Bayern you have a realistic shot at the champions league etc. They attract great coaches and they usually do very well in the champions league most years.

But I suppose PSG arent a club who can attract talent as the French league is rated lower than the bundesliga yet they end up with huge name players.

When players are linked to us in the media they often shortly sign new improved contracts with their current clubs.

Perhaps brother Kane is flexing ever so slightly to get an improved deal for Harry?

Haven't a clue though but I'm sure it'll all become clear in the near future!
