I wonder if Poch and Martino have a relationship of any kind that we can use to get Lamela back early for a title run. We need him against Liverpool. Badly. It does frustrate me that neither Gibbs nor Baines was called up. I appreciate that it doesn't make sense for Hodgson to take players who aren't in his plans for the summer, but Shaw is highly unlikely to be match fit in time, so it only takes an injury or dip in form for Rose/Bertrand and he'll have to take Gibbs/Baines to France.
