I do not think he would, I think he sees Leicester as bigger than us at the moment.

Lets be fair he would be mad to leave them for us

One he gets a chairman that is a known arsehole.

Two - he gets a scouting network that would identify messi as average and Charlie Austin as a world beater.

He will not get the control etc he gets at leicester and yeh, he knows he fucks up with us or does anything wrong hes outta here.
Let's see.
Stranger things have happened.

He was injured should have come off earlier. His choice to see the first half out.

I am actually angry at him for that, as we had to play with 10 men for a lot of it and the manager in that situation should take control, it is I think where Jose lost total control.

He was already on thin ice with the players for the treatment of Dele, I personally think Levy likes Dele, the players like Dele.

A sad Dele, is probably not good for the manager as the players are also probably seeing him as a scapegoat.

I'm really hoping Jose turns it around and gets time. I know it's not looking good atm. But if we fire the most successful manager in the modern era, we're basically saying our problems are too big to be fixed by anyone. Player power getting him sacked would make us no better than Chelsea. And there is no way Son and Kane stay beyond the end of the season.
He maybe the most successful manager in modern era, but his tool box has changed here and he no longer has the pick of the worlds elite and a bottomless budget.. Do you honestly think Kane and Son would be keen to remain if results were better, because I'm pretty sure they wouldn't relish further seasons of this turgid shite, irrespective of the results it brings..

I think under normal circumstances DL would be preparing to make the change. The one thing that I think will be playing into his decision is that there are two routes into the CL. There is top four and then there is winning the EL. Our chances of top four are fading but DL may feel that JM still gives us the edge in the EL. As soon as DL feels that JM is a detriment rather than a boost to our chances in the EL then he may just ditch him.

I don’t disagree with this at all, but I will say if he’s lost the dressing room – and there are some pretty big indicators, Alli, Aurier – that he has, there is very little point on giving him time to approach Europa fixtures.

He will, and should, be given more time. We have some big games in the next few weeks and a few nicked results, combined with some semblance of a performance, would change the mood massively. But if there is no reaction, then you have to wonder what the point is – give it Harry til the end of the season :grumpy:

If the team is playing horrible, joyless football and the results are bad and squad morale is plummeting and players on massive wages are being ostracised and there are no fans in the stadium... I fail to see how fans' attitude has much bearing on the situation.
This more in response to @Trix suggesting the potential new manager should get afforded time.

No because while I'm now of the opinion he'll go, I'm disgusted by the fact people are happy he has failed.
I am Not happy he has failed, where do I say that
But now that he is serving us this dross week in week out I would be happy if he fucked off
That's not the same mate.

José needs to go fast. I really hope we are not planning on moving any players on at this point based on his judgement. We can talk all we want of how bang average Bale, Vinicius, Dele etc are but the sad truth is that players not in Josés core get blamed for his lack of ideas. His subs are so boring and predictable and at times come at stupid times (like when Bale just hit an amazing free kick that Vinicius tapped in an he hauled them both off). Players like Bale and Dele look like the feel the HAVE TO create something special in however few minutes they get while we have players like Bergwijn (Lucas mk2) that are on Josés good side that can run around for 90 minutes doing fuck all and breaking up our counter attacks and still be there, week in, week out.

I'm just so fucking bored with everything José atm, get someone in that has us attacking again. Please.

Winning the League cup has rarely had a positive effect on a team like us. I can think of us in 2008 going on a terrible run under Ramos ending in his sack, Birmingham relegated, Swansea went shit after it as well under laudrup. Then with the Fa Cup Wigan relegated and Portsmouth relegated 2 seasons after. A league Cup isn't going to be the silver bullet we want.
totally agree. Im closing in on 40 years of following the club and for now, in the absence of any other discernable strategy, thats the best i can come up with based on what i see on the pitch and hear off it.

What a club this is btw, hire a manager to guarantee us a trophy and probably won't get one.

You cant guarantee a trophy there are 4 of them. Theres 19 other teams in the league and 16 of them have spent more on transfers than us and 6 pay vastly higher wages. Its a sad fact but to guarantee trophies you have to spend more than everyone else. United and Chelsea are both big spenders Mourinho won there. Porto were the top team in Portugal at the time. Inter were top spenders in Italy at the time. Madrid in Spain etc etc etc.

He's proved he manages by fear of replacement for the players terry and cahill have both told the story of him telling them if you don't stop giving the ball away I will spend 50m on someone who wont. Sorry Jose that's not going to work here thanks for trying but see you later.

Agreed, bad bad management.

Also I wouldn't be surprised if the 2nd ankle injury was a result of him subconciously overcompensating for the 1st ankle injury.

Look at arteta, losing game. After fame. But he had a plan, brought some kids in and built a team with an ethos and now they are flying.
Jose just tried wonks one week then dumps him the Sissoko and On we go.
