I quite enjoyed that and even went ballistic when Bale scored his first - that’s a feeling I’d forgotten. Just wanted to finish above arsenal, not fussed by the Europa league or conference to be honpest.

When Vardy dived I was getting ready to post a long rant about new lows and all that but I decided to hold off, thinking that despite everything we’ve shown this season we would come back and win this.
I thoroughly enjoyed that match.. Leicester bottled it for sure but I can’t remember the last time we showed that much desire and heart.
For all his supposed limitations, Bale is still so fucking awesome. Who else in our team would you want those chances to fall to?

Yeah you gotta wonder about that, the game is Nearly as big as the fa cup final for them yet they get thrashed by 4 goals to a team were the best player is leaving, a bunch of others didn't even turn up literally and the rest are past it/average.
And managed by a kid with no experience

Not sure I want him!
He got done by the Harry Winks team

Kane wins golden boot.
Cue Liverpool fans scouring through video footage to see if they can award him another goal via the tiniest of deflections

I’m not sure I wanted that result because it means we’re in that new tournament. Not sure we’d be better off without it. But we’ll done lads. Shame we waited till the last game to show what we’re capable of.

Woohoo! Europa Conference League here we come!!!

Wait ... :banghead::banghead::banghead:
I actually am happy to see more games again next season. Chance to see some youngsters and we should be favourites. We seriously should win that, need a trophy of any sort. One more trophy to challenge for is no bad thing.

Well we made Rodgers a possibility. I'm not thrilled with the europa conference league, I hope we send the u23's. I just see it as a hindrance for a team that needs stability whilst starting a rebuild.

I did not want to see Chelsea qualify for the Champions League but it was important on a number of levels for Tottenham to qualify for Europe and to finish above Arsenal.

Fans need to understand the importance of both. Big clubs need to be in Europe no matter the competition. I will say it now, it is a competition we need to take seriously and target for winning. Success breaths success.
Wish I could winner this more than once. Financially for the ticket sales and gate is important those extra games. Important for our coefficient in the new UCL revamp where wild card spots will be up for grabs. In this season, we’d actually get CL because of our coefficient and finishing in a European spot of the new format started next season. Also arsenal out of Europe hurts them financially.
