They're going after Diego Costa for £21m. He scored 10 goals last year and has a reputation for being a bit crazy. As in Suarez crazy. Currently still serving a European ban for a headbutt. So just to clarify, they're overpaying for a fairly unproven striker who no one else likes and who is likely to cause the club a lot of trouble. Some teams never change

Simply because lots of deluded Scousers have backed them to win the league. Bookies respond to this by lowering the odds and reducing their exposure to such a freak outcome.
Although most of us I'd say are fairly optimistic about the new season I doubt many would splash money on a league win bet. We would perhaps on a top 4 finish, which Liverpool fans are too deluded to appreciate offers a far better value bet for the punter.

He does not have a release clause and he IS allowed to talk to Arsenal... But Liverpool are allowed to refuse any bid because, IT IS NOT a release clause.
Its a bloody stupid clause though, allow your player to talk to another club and get excited and then feck everyone over? Daft. Either have a release clause or dont. This half way house stuff is crap.
