I liked him as a CM in a 433 very much. But in Redknapp's loose CM2/442 he spent way too much time performing perfunctory shit when he should have been doing more constructive stuff.

You don't need two stoppers in a CM3 and Capoue can play a bit and pass the ball bloody well.

Something like:

Mason Capoue Bentaleb

Would be a very dynamic, progressive CM3 with great balance.
I find that to be a pretty ordinary midfield tbh but it's probably the best we have right now.

Capoue
Bentaleb
Mason

Lamela
Chadli
Eriksen

Would be interesting in the 4-3-3 buts its all so moot as Pochettino isn't going to play it.

In Poch's 4-2-3-1 I like to see a quartet of Soldado, Eriksen, Chadli and Lamela - as the number ten.

I'd still Dembele in for Eriksen on the right of the 3, still not sure about the 2 Eriks together. Soldado cant be any worse than Ade at the moment.

I'm writing to Poch, he finally listened and put a suit on, fancy my chances with this too.

He declares his love for the club and still people fucking complain.
He didn't declare any love for the club, even if he did I'd take it with a pinch of salt and I'm not complaining, I'm just keeping it real. He's a young professional football at a top 6 premiership club getting a very decent wage of course he wants to stay if he can.

I think Eriksen will improve, its a bit of the shock to the system - Poch's demands I think.

If he can work harder off the ball we could of have a fantastic attacking trio.

Have a read at this article, its in the Eriksen thread...http://www.football365.com/f365-says/9495027/F365-Says

Spot on for me, just need to be patient.

While Eriksen learns, I'd rather Dembele plays. He's a beast in the tackle.

All good copy on Eriksen, but it's quite a pish article in my eyes. I don't think Chadli has really been 'reborn'.

Yeah ignore the bit on Chadli, that was a bit

On Eriksen though, its a good IMO.

Still would like to see what he can do with Dembele as well.

Considering he ha been trained by Mickelson Hazard since he was 6 and been at Spurs since he was 8, he must have some affection for the club.

Pritchard and Carroll must be watching Mason thinking that could be them next year.

Edit: and Fredericks.
It's showing that Poch is appearing to be a man of his word - if you impress, you'll be given a go. This is the polar opposite of AVB who would drop a player after an excellent game.

It's really going to motivate a lot of players, senior and junior.

Of course he has and other players do too, I just don't think people should get sucked into thinking that the reason he hasn't left is specifically because he has some special love for the club.
If a bigger club were interested in him when he had a chance to leave, he would've gone and at the same token I don't think there would be too much complaint from people if we sold him and got a top class attacking midfielder in his place.

Interesting that you and BC would stick him either side in a 433, I'd have him plum in the middle..

Capoue Mason Dembele Bentaleb

Oops, sorry BC.;)

What I been saying, pinks, you can see he's not enamoured with the style. He has got it in him though if he really wants to grow out of his shell and get some modric grit in him.

All up to him, he's got to dig deep; he's got to want it.

@mrpink
Eriksen: "It's been a hard pre-season,' he admitted, referring to his manager's demands on fitness. "It is pretty hard. The first few weeks there were times when we went to bed pretty early. Now of course you try to get used to it. There have been double sessions two times a week when we were training at 10am and then again at 4pm, so it's a long day."

You know...these guys deserve a pay rise....

What? Whats up?

Good on the kid, he wants to play with us. You will find that most players that have played at any level would rather be playing every week, and he wasn't even on the bench this time last year. So what a travesty that he wants to play with the club he loves. We all have dreams? If we don't we are all just sauntering through life.
