I'm guessing Micky Hazard, surely it's not that hard to make the connection?

Cheers for clearing that up, I thought it sounded like Higgs Boson and I was trying to think which scientific breakthroughs the Mikelson Hazard particle could lead too. Looks like I was way off.

It's only a guess, but surely it's common sense?

It's showing that Poch is appearing to be a man of his word - if you impress, you'll be given a go. This is the polar opposite of AVB who would drop a player after an excellent game.

It's really going to motivate a lot of players, senior and junior.
I agree but Soldado is probably looking at Ade thinking the opposite.

Not about to make this an AVB thread, but do you have any examples of this? Lamela after the Europa League game? Others?

Kane last year, turned around a league cup game when he came on in which we were dire... Hit the post, had one disallowed and then scored from distance... Wasn't seen again for weeks afterwards (admittedly got an injury during this period, but the games immediately after his performance he was ditched from the squad). That was when I finally gave up hope on him bringing through any youngsters or picking on form and not just because you are an established player.

Mason also got 3 games under AVB in 2012
He should of had more considering the terrible form of Dempsey at the time. Alot of us were calling for him to get a shot but he didnt get 3 games

He got 4 seconds of a game, which imo was disgraceful!

He got 3 mins against Maribor

Finally he got a game against league cup Carlisle. He never got a chance under AVB and AVB didnt turn up to U21 games. We also never had so much competition for CM.

I like what Ive seen from Mason so far. Also as a local lad the inclusion of him in the team gives us a bit more of a sense of identity I feel. Which is an untimely boost as I for one had never been soo disconnected from my team in my whole life as I had been for the last year.
Couple that with recent ITK regarding Pochs line of thinking on picking squads based on who will buy into his philosophy, Im starting to get optimistic again. Oh the life of a Spurs fan!

What's the ITK ???

Mason is a kick in the arse for players like Paulinho and Dembele that we have waited and waited for to produce something over a length of time. They are expensive internationals and along with his strong moves in getting rid of fans favourites Daws, Holtby and Sandro you have to admire Pochettino just for his decisiveness. Time will tell but I'm finding it all very fascinating. COYS.

Those two gentleman cost 30 million combined, Dembele, we should look to get rid of in January, I so desperately wanting him to add a bit more to his game, so he could become a top class midfielder. He hasn't done it, he's 27 by August he's going to be 28, he is going to stay at the level he's at.

Paulinho has had only one season, so I give him a bit more time, not looking good for him at the moment.
Loved Holtby's winning mentality unfortunately he did not produce, Sandro is a character but always injured and not consistent. Daws good back up defender, seems like a very nice guy but going to be 31 this year, so we did well to get a fee for him.

My point exactly. We as fans have been patient with players we are willing on to succeed, Pochettino has no such sentiment, he just got rid. As ruthless as Fergie or , dare I say, Bill Nick in the early days.
