What time today does the FP verdict come out. Seems to be a lot of talk juve will get their points deduction struck off in which case maybe he will get off too. If he gets off, and there seems a lot I would be amazed if we don't end up with Enrique.

Feyenoord are 12 points ahead in the Dutch league with 5 games to play. They could secure the title this weekend if they win at home and Ajax fail to win at PSV. Otherwise, very likely to wrap it up weekend of 6-7 May. Let’s see if they survive beyond tonight in Europa League. But either way, if Slot is our preferred option (with Nagelsmann going to Chelsea) the reasons to keep that so secret may fade away relatively soon.
I wouldn't be surprised if the outcome of the Paratici situation is also causing a big hold up. The sooner we find out about that and Chelsea finalise their target the better for us really.

Maybe CFC want TT back.
Seems like

Just me or I feel that this is hinting towards JN to Chelsea

Unfortunately, it seems this is a done deal with Nagelsmann... I am not sure if he is the right fit there but I also don't have any confidence that Levy and the board can make him a competitive offer... In fact, I don't even think we met with Nagelsmann yet so perhaps Spurs have already decided Nagelsmann to Chelsea is a foregone conclusion...Rather disheartening to think about because I think he is perfect fit for us...

Facts are, if it was between us and Chelsea he picking Chelsea for a whole host of reasons that have been done to death in this thread. One of them being that his DOF at Leipzig is now Chelsea's DOF.

But isnt this current appeal for breaking the sporting rules?
There is also the criminal investigation of players pay - they declared they wern't going to take salary for 4 months because of covid, but got paid by other means?
This meant that Juventus "saved" 90m euros, but actually they didnt - but it looked good on the balance sheet.
This would have a knock on affect for FFP - so they could have even more thrown at them later on.

It would be better to just dump Paratici and move ourselves as far away as possible....

That's been the case for months, but we didn't act, then pretended to be shocked when the hammer fell a couple weeks ago.

Anyone else find the lack of news worrying?

We can't literally just be waiting for Chelsea to make a decision. Or for a verdict on Fabio. Or for Stellini and Mason to see out their caretaker term because we've announced it.

In the background, we MUST be doing something proactive, right, and not just sitting on our hands?

When are we bringing back the ‘optimistic’ rating?

I'm glad there's no news coming out. That to me makes me think the club have wrapped up a Slot or a Kompany and don't want to leak it and derail those managers' seasons.

I'm also glad the stories in the media we keep seeing rehashed seem to be a lot of guessing which also means the club has sealed up a lot of leaks.

Not really. If our guy is currently with another club we (and he) would likely not want it leaked until their season is wrapped up.

Not worrying at all. There's still over a month left of the season and I doubt we will know anything concrete until its over. Hopefully it means we're taking our time to make the right decision and we're keeping if professional with no leaks. I do think we need to interview candidates and some are in work so will need to finish the season before they interview.

You'd hope so but we heard lots of talk in 2021 about how things were happening behind the scenes despite it being quiet and that we would make an announcement shortly after the season ended. Well, we know how that went...
