Have dipped in and out of this 1268 page thread and am wondering why we aren’t pushing for De Zerbi. Has be already been ruled out? We appointed Pochettino based on his development of players and playing style. De Zerbi certainly has the latter and some may argue that player development was in large parts thanks to Potter and their recruitment team.

RDZ compensation is £21m so was never happening.

Absolutely zero chance he leaves Brighton for us especially with them going into the Europa League next year. Not even worth thinking about.

I'd love to know how much the clubs value would've dropped as a result of the general walliness the last few years if we were still listed on the stock exchange!
Wonder if we'd have got this prolonged tit in a trance behaviour if we were still listed?

The problem is that if our bluff has been called Bayern can still insist on top dollar.
But if JN has an expensive release... as he's not yet been sacked, then we won't pay that either?

Unless after June 30th the landscape changes?!

I'm not sure about this new techinque about identifying the best man for the job but skipping the actual hiring process, it's bold but we could be onto something here!!....bring on the next link!

Defo not top of my list of the remaining candidates but Potter is miles better than his current reputation suggests and he'd get us playing some decent stuff.

Would much, much prefer him to, say, Rodgers and I think he'd do pretty well here given the chance - certainly not another Nuno style appointment.

Levy would get so much shit for appointing him, though.
