We need to switch to 433 in these kind of games, imo.

I think 4-5-1 / 3-2-3-2 would work better imo

Norwich are crowding the middle, and in defence it's 3 players around each area of movement so it's gotta be controlled at the back and not slowly taken forward allowing time for them to regroup and hold their lines. Hit them hard and where's the bloody passing and movement gone that used to create chance after chance? It's been basic basic stuff but what do I know, I haven't kicked a ball in over a month. Anyone else frustrated or you cheering yourself up in the Sandro thread?

Sometimes... I hate spurs fans. Against ManU, we could finish 3rd, Parker is immense. 10 days later, Parker is s***, everyone's going to overtake us. Our only choice really is to go 4-3-3, put Holtby in front of Parker and Dembele. Whether we sacrifice Lennon or Dempsey doesn't matter. What we need is to keep the ball moving, lethargically knocking the ball two yards to the person next to you isn't going to open them up, we need urgency and movement as we do not have the target man to allow us to play any other way.

This is yet again another illustration of why we need a new striker.

Exactly - Norwich are quite happy for us to knock the ball about between daws and verts, then as soon as teh ball comes to a midfielder they press. Its how we should be playing.

Im hoping that was our poor half and we come out with a super second half like the good ol days udner harry. Cant see tho

Does somebody want to try and continue the argument that you would not take £5m for Parker?? Not the worst tonight or the only one, however I think you have seen all the evidence you need to convince. And as for Dempsey and Defoe... and while I am at it; it's about time Dembele stopped flattering to deceive and actually effected a game in the final 3rd. This team lost it's heart and bottle when Sandro got injured.

Holtby isn't going to come on and stop Norwich wanting to win the match more than us. We need a change of attitude as well as tactics. We are being bullied off the ball in midfield and forced to defend a hoofed ball, and when its played up on the ground we're giving away stupid fouls. Meh
