as much as i love paulinho, i can't help but feel we are over stacked with grafters with him, dembele, capoue and sandro and i would love it if we had another option there with a great passing range ie" an alonso, cabaye, modric type.

Agree, but Dembele is the weakest link/the one we should move on to bring in more of a ballplayer.

Only reason to believe it is that it's Madrid. What did they spunk on Illaramendi, £33m?

I'd be tempted if we could get our money back and Morata on loan for the rest of the season.
Money could be spent on Mateo Kovacic, feel we need a baller more than a runner.

For the life of me I can't see why people don't rate Paulinho. He has played non stop football for 18 months but despite this he always is most likely to get in the box in last 10 mins. He is a top level international keeping quality players out of the Brazil side. He was man of the match in 2 of his first 4 games, for a brand new side in a brand new league/country.

Yes, he hasn't played to his potential, who has, but he has looked pretty good for his first 6 months.

I might opening myself up to abuse by banging the drum for Paulinho but I'm convinced that by next season the majority will rate him as our best player.

We have too many CM's but this wont happen until after the world cup as there is too much money to make commercially from Paulinho

Apparently Madrid have a pre agreement for Gundogan but maybe modric excelling has made them change their mind but they will probably lose Xabi alonso and Khedira in the summer

Eriksen? I suppose he should be written off too at 21 after 10 appearances. Sandro, Paulinho and Eriksen could be an incredible midfield 3 given the chance.

Some of the short sightedness on this thread is staggering. Before we ship out a Brazil international who's been with us for all of 7 month's shall we see what he looks like playing in a team that isn't being played in a safety first style which was so slow and predictable the manager was sacked??? Just a suggestion.
Fans go on about clubs making hasty decisions and bonkers Chairman but reading some posts they make the WBrom, Hull & Cardiff chairman seem patient.
Sherwood out, Paulinho out, Naughton out, Dawson out, Ade out, Soldado out, Erikson out, Dembele out, Etc etc.
Moronic.

Is there a player at our club that people on this website haven't complained about-and wanted them to be sold.

God. Almighty.

I do rate paulinho but we do have a lot of cms and I'd like to see the likes of Carroll and bentaleb given chances, so if a good offer comes in I'd certainly consider it

Yeah lets ship out a proven Brazil international and pin our hopes on a 19yr old who has yet to play a full 90min at top flight. Truly an Award winning suggestion.
Seriously people please think before posting.
Carroll for World Cup squad. Oops.
