Ridiculous Hyperbole:

Soldado, Paulinho, Darren Bent...

At least Soldado resembled a footballer. Sissoko bares no resemblance to one at all. Paulinho did turn out to be a bit shit but at least he scored 8 or so goals from central midfield in his first season, what has Sissoko done other than get a few assists?

He's toilet, there's no getting round it.

I do think he's shit, but he wasn't that bad yesterday. Not sure why people are clutching at any negative they can after we've just smashed those ****s 6-1 in their shite, plastic-clapper filled stadium?

One more game and you won't have to see him again. I see no reason why people like you have to jump in this thread after every fucking game no matter how we've played just to join in the circle jerk wankfest of putting down Sissoko. It's like a group of giggling schoolkids in the playground. It's fucking boring and embarrassing.

To be fair, tiger, you like jumping all over posts you don't like (usually anything even vaguely negative posted about any aspect of THFC) as much as the likes of millsey et al like having a moan. That can be pretty repetitious too.

Firstly, I haven't been jumping in this thread all the time slagging him off in fact I was quite supportive of him earlier on in the season when the daggers were out for him.

Secondly, I don't give a shit, it's clear as day he'll be gone in the summer (he's that bad) but I don't see why that should stop someone commenting on his performance (but yeah, putting it into context, it's important not to take it to far)

Thirdly, why do you have to constantly jump into threads with your self righteous holier than thou attitude. You're no better than anyone else because you don't say anything negative about any players.

Worst player I have seen in a Spurs shirt in years

Those that have disagreed with this can they say who is worse?

I'm genuinely interested.

I thought Paulinho was awful but he could control a football and had could just about pass it to a team mate.

Tramezzani was the previous worse player that I had seen but now I'd say it's Sissoko.

I find it really confusing. I like every player and Sissoko can obviously come good. But yesterday I thought he was woeful: He was clumsy, he gave away fouls, made errors. I felt like a problem, that pochettino would want to take him off but that would probably end his career here.

And yet it seems most people are saying he had a good game. Have people lowered the bar for him? If that was walker this thread would be a crucifixion.

Very poor again yesterday. Either really really crap at football, or completely and utterly doesn't understand our players or system.

Or.... Maybe he's out if position?

Even more than Rasiak?

My god Rasiak was bad, I still endure sleepless nights of that FA cup game against Leicester he started as Mido (this was during his awesome season) was injured...

He did ok yesterday considering he was out of position, but let's face it he sticks out like a sore thumb in our squad full of quality footballers.

If we can get even 2/3 of what we paid for him back then we should take it and run.

Dozzell was a talented lad actually, just couldn't really handle the step up from a small town club to the bigger spotlight. Also loads of injuries.

I remember he was supposed to be good in 1993/4 season when we first got him, but I really got seriously into Spurs 1995/96 (just after we lost Klinsmann, Barmby and Popescu and Anderton's injury woes had just started :cry:) and remembering Dozzell in that season just brings back memories that I spent years trying to repress lol.

When is the last time he played in "his preferred central position"? I am pretty sure he played as a wide AM for France in the Euros, and I thought that was his position for Newcastle as well...

He was part of a central 3, right sides with Pogba left sides and Matuidi in the middle, and he did look very good.

I don't think he's going to succeed with us and this season has been a disaster, but he's a better player than we've seen.

He came into the team when they switched to 4231 so they could get griezmann central behind the striker.

Sissoko played amr
