If we can recoup the cash we spent on him I don't see why not. He has no future here, that much is clear. Unless we sack the current manager and hire someone that can figure out what he is. Obviously that won't happen so take the cash to buy someone else who is better.

We need to flesh this team out and if the idiot in charge doesn't want him there is little point in wasting our time with another player that has no position but holds value. We hold onto players for no reason, young and old and then make no money when the contract is low or the player is viewed as mediocre.

Sometimes players just need time and unfortunately we've thrown a bunch of exciting new guys in at just the point our "old guys" seemed to lose interest or start struggling with injuries when they should have been the players to bed the new fellas in.
I wouldn't chuck any of the new guys out unless they have horror shows next season, especially a talented kid.
