I think Ally Gold said in a vid several weeks ago, we have to pay for Reggie this summer, so that might also contribute to him being moved on.

I hope we can get bach nearly what we paid, dont think so though.

Its a shame, he started his career here really really promising but really disappointed last season.
Thought the wing back system will fit his speed and stamina, but he didnt took his chance.

Not surprised. Seemed to me he was more interested in SoMe, glam and fashion. A bit like Dele. Don't believe Conte likes those types of personalities in his squad.

We have been linked to LWB even after arrival of Perisic

I hope we go into the market for WB like Udogie, Cambiaso , Raum or even Kostic

We should easily get £25m. Loads of other fans saying they’d take him. His stock is still reasonably ok. He hasn’t been a disaster just Perisic Sessegnon are better.

Yeah but Conte will have been watching to see how well he was taking things in, to see if he could adapt.

I posted at the back end of last season that since January Certain players had surprised Conte, and that some that were deemed surplus he'd changed his mind about(one that I think will shock some on here) due to their attitude, mentality and ability to do what he was asking. Well Regi was the opposite.
I think a lot of us thought Regi would be perfect for Conte, as a WB, unfortunately he’s regressed. It’s like he doesn’t believe in himself. I hope we have a buyer lined up.

I don’t think it’s that. More he’s weak in the tackle and too frantic in attacking situations.

Worth remembering Conte often speaking of 'killing the opponent ' aka be ruthless.

Reguilon isn't and that's why he's going

Don't think it's a loss football wise if he goes. Loves the high life does Reggie. Not a bad thing in itself but maybe not entirely compatible with Elite sport. Need better anyway.

I like him, but I can understand why he’s surplus to requirements. Hope we can get good money for him.

I wonder if he’s simply been left out as we feel he needs a bit of a push to leave. Like maybe we’ve had some interest and felt he wasn’t taking it seriously enough.

I thought it was Emerson when he came in for Doherty playing on the left/injured
Trix with a winner rating on this one. Sounds like Emerson is here to stay. Personally, I'm quite glad. Still really young, only 23.

His end product was quite poor for us, but it really wasn't that bad in Spain. In his two seasons at Betis he had 5 goals and 10 assists, which is pretty solid for a young 20/21 year old fullback in a top league. Better than Reguilon did at Sevilla.

I think he still has a lot of room to grow and improve, especially in a full season under Conte. If you think about it, last year was probably tougher on him than anyone else. No preseason, new league, young player, and his position was most impacted in the coaching change between Nuno and Conte. He may not be good enough in the end, but if there is anyone in the side who would be unfair to judge after just one season it would have to be Emerson.

Shame but the numbers game makes it likely.
As for the guess the player I'd throw Sanchez name in.

Actually weird that so many of you are ok with him leaving. Why? A genuine question.

I actually thought he has the potential to improve when Conte came in. But apparently he was not favoured as I thought. Even Sess seems to be in front of him in the pecking order.
