Early day for Vincent, but he should have passed to Lamela.
Get the injury that Kane might have picked up, Vincent should be starting the next few games. It should also give Kane a break to freshen up for the CSKA match on Tuesday week.

If Kane is fit for CSKA I'll be amazed, but he's had a good run injury wise so it was bound to happen eventually.

Hopefully Jansen can step up. I've no doubt he can play the target man role, I just worry sometimes that he seems to always want to get it onto his left foot and doesn't seem the quickest so it may take him a fair while to really get used to the PL.

So just because Batshuyai has scored a goal off the bench he's 5x the player of Janssen :ROFLMAO:

How many goals did janssen scored as a sub ?
Saying that Batshuyai is a better player than Janssen is fine - an opinion and probably a valid one. But trying to quantify that based on goals seems a little shortsighted.
Ultimately goals are what a striker is judged by but in fact we all know there's a lot more to their role than just the goals and Janssen has shown encouraging signs.

Batshuayi is twice the player than janssen ...... Just watch how many goals batshuayi already scored for chelsea !!
What you've basically done here is seen that he scored 2 goals against Bristol Rovers, and then judged that he must be better than Janssen. Nice one.

We need to sign that guy up as a scout for us - he obviously knows what he is talking about.

So some people have decided to judge him on one poor effort on goal and now he is crap? Nice one. Shall we even wait till he gets a full match or should we just sell him now?

Flog him now and while we're at it get rid of that young keeper Lopez. He hasn't even made a save or collected a cross yet. Hopeless ;)

The talent is there but as he hasn't played much and is a young player he's anxious to score.

With Kane's injury, he will be playing more regularly for the few games so hopefully that anxiety will diminish and you see him play to a high standard.

I personally think he'll offer more movement that Kane and stretch teams.

Yes but he missed a chance in the last game and obviously is therefore completely rubbish, Levy out, burn down WHL, etc.

Yesterdays miss was rushed but it was mainly borne from his eagerness to score. Yesterday was the first time he panicked. Once he gets his goal im sure he will be a relieved man and like a weight off his shoulders.

Got to say, a premier league striker should at least be getting that close to the target. Looks a poor player to me so far, hoping I'm wrong...
That's akin to the commentators who say things like, 'if that had been Aguero, it would've been a goal."

Who do these commentators reference when Aguero misses a sitter, which - like all Premier League strikers - has happened quite a few times over the years?

Zero...in the 206 minutes he played...And your point is ?
Are you going to infer Janssen is a flop from that 206 minutes ?
Do you need me to give a list of players who started slowly for their new club but flourished when given time ? Happy to shove it in your face...

You sound like you want him to fail just to prove a point. With fans like you who needs Arsenal fans?

Rushed? he took a few touches, had time and space and skied his shot....

Some of you are embarrassing, grow up and support our players. Stop sulking cause we didn't sign the player that scored you 50 goals on football manager.

You're right, I have never seen a premier league striker shank a ball, never ever ever

Well he also missed a sitter against Palace and has generally not looked a threat. Just saying he hasn't exactly looked silky so far, and will have to improve a great deal to justify a starting place.
