Should we take it from this great news that Pochettino has set out his transfer targets for the summer and Levy has agreed to buy them?

Or is that being ludicrously Pollyanna-ish of me?

Congraultaions to Pochettino, well earned.

Also a big mention to Rebecca Caplehorn, Matthew Collecott and Donna Cullen. Well done! :cautious:

...its kind of a very unSpursy like serendipity at play here, don't you think?

Club at cross roads, makes a seemingly risky decision to go with an allegedly untried Poch. Club at the juncture building its new stadium when money is going to be tight and player purchases can be impacted. Club signs manager who doesn't automatically go for the big name signing but instead wants players who 'fit' into his squad and philosophy and is happy to look to youth. Club and manager have a brilliant season as the philosophy starts to bear fruit. Club gets over enormous hurdles to obtain approval for new stadium. Club sees emergence of brilliant younger players to form core of future side like Kane, Dier, Rose, Alli, Lamela, Eriksen etc. Club and manager wed for a further 5 years. Club finishes in CL places.

Fakin 'ell this is one big joyous rollercoaster and I never want to get off!

Epic trajectory.

Fantastic news. Of course I was one of the panty wetters who thought the worst when I saw him with Ferguson and I'm delighted to be utterly wrong. In my defence, years of being a spurs fan have somewhat polluted my faculties...

Also guilty as charged, and I can't deny it. It's a fair cop, guv'nor.

But I thought he was going to United? :ROFLMAO:

On another note have you seen the picture of Levy and Poch? It looks like Levy is feeling very uncomfortable, I bet Poch just rinsed him for a big fat cheque lol.

To be fair, I've never seen a picture of Levy looking comfortable when smiling...it's just not a good look for him...

Lets be fair, when your manager is on the verge of signing a new contract and is then seen leaving a restaurant with that oily heap of shit I think most reasonable people would raise an eyebrow.

Great news.
Dont understand these posts saying they'll be a lot of people pissed off, conspiracy theorists and those worrying after Fergie meeting.
People, myself included, were worried, rightly or wrongly because it looked fkin suspect.
I don't think there's a spurs fan in the world who'll be pissed off Poch signed a new deal because they'd rather see him go to Man U just so they can say 'I told you so. Bit childish really.
Anyway tht him sown up for next season at least lol. ;)

Just what the club needed planning for the long term and stability the days of having a manager for 18 months and starting again are thankfully over.

With Poch having no agent, I expect he wanted to talk through the draft contract with Uncle Alex. I mean, would you trust yourself against Uncle Daniel?

The fact ManU have now got first buy out rights, at a discounted rate, is neither here nor there.
