Arsenal are a good team. A poor man's City, but I mean that as a compliment. Their squad might let them down, but I can definitely see them finishing ahead of Chelsea. Just hope we finish above both!

I still can’t figure out if they’re any good or been lucky teams haven’t turned up against them. As the sample size gets bigger you have to think the former unfortunately. They really didn’t have any chances other than the two goals though and those were both great finishes

They've improved most definitely. Personally, I think it's off the ball and their effective press where the biggest improvement has come. Also the solidity of the two CBs.

That said, Brentford's lack of appetite to do the basics well is making this look like a cruise for Arsensl in second gear. Which it is.

Was hoping they'd be tested today but Brentord have been disappointing as well.

The thing is there is a clear comparison to be made between Arsenal and ourselves. On the basis of the season so far, Arsenal perform well, have a clear defined style of play, and are winning games whilst playing good football.

Brentford have been crap but you could also say Arsenal have just completely shut them down. To me their performances suggest they will be up there all season, performances are the best indicator of consistent results after all.

Where as we routinely start games poorly. In fact we can go entire halves playing crap. Arsenals passing is crisp. You rarely see them give the ball away. We seem to do it constantly. Our passing and ball retention is often woeful. I would describe us as quite chaotic in games.

Based on their performances this season and ours, I expect we will lose at their place. We can’t keep not performing for large parts of the game and winning. Let’s hope we turn up. That said we have attacking talent and we seem to win games despite playing well for large parts of it so let’s see.

The problem is that people say this after every game Arsenal is winning and outplaying their opponent. We should be worried.

We've done well enough away from home countering the top teams. Hoping for a similar performance to the Liverpool games last year.

They've only really taken apart Bournemouth prior to this. The rest have been a lot closer on terms of results. They tend to start strong and then drop off.
